20/11/2025: The dishes listed on the menu outside weren't available (at the start of service!). The owner was unpleasant and unprofessional, and to top it off, charged the price of a royal couscous for a couscous with two merguez sausages and two meatballs. The couscous itself was very ordinary and tasteless. Only the waitress could save this "restaurant"; she did what she could... In short, avoid it!

05/11/2025: This restaurant is permanently closed. If you make a reservation you'll get an email in a couple of hours from the owner that they are closed.

14/07/2024: Warm welcome, good baguettes and pastries. We came to collect our 10 baguettes every day during our vacation in the region 👍

25/01/2026: A very quiet and charming inn, as each room has a theme (ours was "Little Red Riding Hood"). The owner is very warm, welcoming, and an animal lover. I highly recommend it.

04/07/2026: Way too expensive for the quantity and quality served. Come on, we're not on the coast! I won't be going back and I don't recommend it.

28/07/2024: Accueil très sympa, puisqu'il était 22h, et qu'ils ont acceptés de nous laisser manger, puisqu'il n'y avait rien d'autre à côté. Plus de salade de bienvenu, mais c'est pas grave, mon burger était suffisant pour me caler, assez goûtu et bien fat comme on aime ça, la cuisson était parfaite et frite plutôt sympa. Mon copain et mon meilleur ami ont prit un steak au poivre, assez tendre, malheureusement peut être pas la bonne cuisson (d'après leurs dires). Les desserts étaient incroyables, très gros et bien conséquent, on a pas pu finir. Mention spéciale pour la serveuse qui était adorable et qui nous a supporté pendant 1h. (merci pour les parts de gateau afin de fêter mon anniversaire !)

21/10/2025: I've been here twice, once in 2023 under the prior ownership and most recently under it's new owner — Poppy. Both times have been absolutely spectacular. This last stay was remarkably peaceful, delicious, and inspiring. Staying at Auberge de Chassignolles is like rebooting your nervous system while raising the bar on what it means to eat, drink, and live well. Already thinking about coming back a 3rd time.
