22/09/2024: I arrived very late in Paris and found this beautiful place open until 2 am! The food is good, perhaps the menu is a little limited but it has something for all tastes. Super friendly attention. I had no problem getting what I wanted even though I don't speak French 😀

21/08/2024: Nous étions à l hôtel, le restaurant était fermé en août L hôtel à un très bon rapport qualité prix . Les gérants sont tres agréable et bienveillants. Le petit déjeuner est très bien pour le prix L hôtel est très proche du centre-ville de Paimpol

17/07/2024: Très très moyen .Annoncer kebab et vous servir du lard grillé il y a un problème. Le porc n est pas la viande préférée des pays du Maghreb que je sache. Annoncer vin a table compris dans le menu ! Prudence si vous prenez du rosé on vous le facture car c est le rouge au menu. Plus de salade il me semble que les magasins de fruits et légumes vous en avez a proximité ? Le seul point positif : La serveuse est très aimable. Nous y allions mais ce sera la dernière fois. Je pense que la considération pour les clients n est pas leur point fort.

20/01/2026: As loyal guests of the Royal Emerald Hotel for over 10 years, we know the place well, and although we were staying there as a family for the Christmas holidays, we wanted to pay a visit to the Darling with our (grown) children on December 25th for a drink, around 6 pm. The bar was almost deserted, and there was a small sign at the entrance asking us to wait, which we did. However, a hotel receptionist suddenly appeared and informed us, in a gruff tone and with very little courtesy, that the bar was closed/reserved for hotel guests. We took note and were about to leave when an elderly couple, who had arrived behind us and heard our rebuff, approached the receptionist, explaining that they were regulars at the bar, and then immediately went inside to sit under the glass roof… One of my sons wanted to come back and make his presence felt, but we decided to go to the bar at the Grand Hotel Barrière, where this time we received a truly royal welcome and enjoyed excellent cocktails accompanied by small snacks… go there! In the end, we didn't regret the peanuts at Darling, and for a drink, take my advice…

08/09/2025: A very pleasant place. We've returned several times and have always been very well received. The staff is lovely. The setting is beautiful, and the cocktails are good. One small drawback: the food isn't up to par with the venue, and the prices don't reflect the contents of the dishes.

12/06/2026: Great new owners! Open daily for coffee, aperitifs, and wines. Atmospheric decor, an open terrace on the street, and a varied drinks menu. They sell local wine and can tell you a lot about the region in several languages. A living room for locals and a haven for travelers arriving by bike, on foot, or by car. Good luck with your first year! You have a fantastic Le Mans weekend ahead of you right away. Enjoy your new place.

19/09/2024: restaurant très mauvais et cher . Je ne le recommande absolument pas .Le parmentier de canard était léger et il y avait très peu de viande . Mon mari a pris un riz au lait en dessert très moyen .

05/08/2024: La nourriture est plutôt correct mais l'attente et médiocre 1 heure d'attente pour trois salade. Nous avons dû attendre 20 min rien que pour recevoir la carte des menus. Un serveur sur deux est émable. La table est les chaises étaient branlantes. Nous avons attendu 20 minutes pour recevoir la carte des menus, 1h pour avoir 3 salades, 15 min pour avoir la carte des desserts, 30 min pour les desserts et 20 min pour l'addition. Honteux
