29/07/2024: Nice atmosphere… initially but very unfriendly server! Too bad it ruins everything! Conclusion: impossible for me to come back because of this little boss! “I can’t be everywhere at once” “you will wait” and all without serving me! Commerce doesn't seem to be its greatest friend

26/07/2024: I absolutely do not recommend, we ordered two glasses of chardonnay with my friend, without tasting, because we were in a bar. Barely did we taste a sip two large maximum. Our palace refused. No sooner said than done. I return to the bar with the two glasses filled, the young waitress as well as her sidekick, With a sideways look. I explain the situation to them: I'm sorry your glasses of chardonnay don't suit us. Is it possible to do something please? Without kindness, Madam and Sir, tasting, it's pasta snob!!! I'll pass on the rest to you, I'll kindly ask for a change of glass after one sip, I'll be asked to pay for a second drink without any commercial gesture!!! At Paulette's no thank you, know that the counter right next door belongs to the same owner but the waitress who received us just after this disagreement was more than pleasant. Review your Standards, and I advise you all to turn to the waiters at the bar counter. Melissa

09/03/2024: Le serveur était aimable au début et nous a vanté le plat du jour, la poule au pot qui devait être servi avec des légumes et du riz. Du riz on en a eu, mais en légumes on n’a eu qu’un bout de carotte et un bout de poireau. Pour ma part j’ai eu la carcasse du poulet et quand j’ai dit au serveur que c’était difficile à manger, j’ai eu comme réponse qu’il fallait prendre du steak haché. En partant, un monsieur à la table à côté m’a demandé si on avait bien mangé. J’ai répondu que ça allait et le gars m’a répondu que ce n’était pas une bonne réponse, il aurait fallu dire que c’était excellent. J’ai cru comprendre que c’était le patron. Quand j’ai dit ce qui n’allait pas, il m’a carrément insulté en disant qu’il fallait apprendre ce que c’est que la cuisine française. Je vis en France depuis 35 ans et je fais de la cuisine française bien meilleure que celle qui m’a été servie dans ce resto. 23 euros pour une carcasse de poulet c’est se moquer du monde.

05/01/2024: Small boutique hotel near the station at Modane. The tartiflette in the restaurant was a revelation, a non pareil, nouriture des Dieux. Seriously, on a long trip to the Alps this one night stopover before hitting the slopes was an absolute delight. The food and wine delicious. Would happily recommend. 🙏😊

10/09/2024: I ordered the mango fruit tea, for 6.8€, but there is not a piece of mango, the drink is full of ice cubes and artificial taste which is not even mango either . Never buy again
