25/08/2024: We wandered through Felines to Gran Café, past the village fête. Everyone was dressed up to the nines and milling about under a marquee, with a bar and trestle tables. Saturday night and festivities in the air! Gran Café was equally exciting, getting a first glimpse of the blackboard menu and ordering a glass of fizzy Minervois wine. We usually enjoy the meat here, the house charcuterie, the quails, steaks and whole rabbits complete with offal. But this time, we ended up ordering all fish. Our starters were bonito sashimi and brandade. The tuna was seared and coated with sesame seeds, luscious and kitten’s tongue pink inside, with pickled cucumbers and a delicious Japanese dressing. The brandade was creamy and served with juicy heritage tomatoes, probably from a local garden. Bread, from a little muslin bag, was needed to mop up every last drop of juice. Then, a real treat - a whole turbot between two. The fish was succulent,sticky and drenched in butter and lemon. Lip smackingly good, with chips and a salad of romesco dressed with garlic and anchoide. We drove home through the vineyards with lightening flashing all around, talking about nothing but that turbot. We are big fans of this restaurant - the service, the people, the setting and most of all, the food. It delivered on all counts again as I’m fully confident it will when we go back in two weeks time!

14/03/2024: Cet endroit est juste incroyable. Les plats sont copieux et sophistiqués avec les produits du terroir. Je recommande vivement. La vu est excellente. Le services est juste parfait avec des superbe recommandations. Bravo

02/03/2024: Vous serez enchantés de votre visite a L'Ancoly. L' accueil tout d 'abord y est irréprochable malgré une affluence importante. L'équipe est aux petitx soins et parfaitement efficace. Coté assiette on n est pas déçu ! Les plats sont de très bonnes qualités avec des produits frais et véritablement cuisinés avec goût et passion. Bravo ! Et pour terminer le décors intérieur est chaleureux et la terrasse offre un panorama splendide ! On y reviendra sans aucun doute !

06/07/2024: C'est notre cantine du samedi. Tout ici est frais et délicieux, quelque soit les plats. Les nems sont croustillants. Salade de bœuf épicée parfaite.

30/09/2024: Nous étions déjà venus il y a 3 mois . Malgré un service pas terrible on a quand même voulu revenir. Malheureusement un service peu agréable : on commençait à peine l apéritif que les plats arrivaient on a du les faire renvoyer. Serveur envahissant à l affût de la moindre chose à enlever dans la foulée franchement pour prendre son temps et profiter c est raté ! Lors de l addition nous avons fait remonter la chose réponse du monsieur "ah le serveur à voulu anticiper" ...et la dernière fois c etait "la serveuse s ennuie ils ont pas grand chose à faire" . Peut etre supprimer du personnel si y en a trop et qu avec le peu de travail sur certains services ils s ennuient et sont peu agréables avec leurs clients Une fois deux fois mais il n y en aura pas trois .

11/09/2024: Table sale , pas de set de table, verres posés à l envers sur une table sale et collante . Set de moutarde et sauces poisseux et sale . Carte de menu chiffonnée. Bref j ai commandé un fish and chips . Ce n est pas la première fois que je mange dans cette chaîne en région parisienne . La à mont de Marsan la déception . Les portions sont minuscules . Un petit filet de poisson ( bon) très peu de frites et pour finir 6 minuscules feuilles de salade ( feuille de chêne). J ai eu l équivalent d un menu enfant . Lamentable . J ai mêle mangé le pain tellement la minuscule planche de service était légère ! Je suis partie sans même prendre de dessert et j ai donné mon avis en payant et on m a dit que c était normal .je n y retournerai pas et le déconseille vraiment

27/08/2024: €4 for an orangina, it's over the top + grilled panini on the outside and a cold complement on the inside.

14/08/2024: We stopped by to get sandwiches on the way. Sandwiches are first of all overpriced. 7 euros for one dry and old bread basically. Bread is stale and there is barely any sauce. Very dissatisfied. Do yourself a favor and stop at a gas station as they will do a better job.

06/10/2024: Good morning, We came to eat Saturday noon October 5 in this restaurant, arriving late (around 2 p.m.) We were very well received and served chicken thighs with mustard as well as Tuscan tagliatelle. All were excellent. I encourage anyone to stop and eat at this little restaurant in Epinal! Good evening !
