25/04/2024: Superb restoration in a setting that is out of the ordinary, friendly and splendid. Didier is at the top and his home cooking is excellent. The icing on the cake (I highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake), it is full of anecdotes and good advice (especially on places to visit in Bordeaux as elsewhere in France or in the world). We will come back.

14/06/2024: Comment dire un accueil plus que limite à peine bonjour un serveur (chauve tatoué) d’une froideur et d’un manque de courtoisie et presque irrespectueux qui attend plante en bout de table que l’on se dépêche de choisir notre apéritif alors même que nous n’avions pas encore consulté la carte je n’avais encore jamais vécu cela dans aucun restaurant jusque là … plat choisi pour nous brochette de poulet riz quasi sans sauce très sec et pas assez chaud les plats sont débarrassés sans qu’on est encore terminé de façon expéditive sans nous demander notre avis idem pour le dessert et les tasses à café un vrai sketch et évidemment sans nous demander notre avis ou si tout s’est bien passé … bref très très mauvaise expérience restaurant qui manque de charme et cruellement de chaleur nous ne reviendrons pas c’est une certitude pour 38€ plat dessert boisson c’est beaucoup trop cher !!!! Je vous déconseille aucun mot au moment au moment de payer l’addition ni bonne soirée ni à bientôt ce serveur devrait suivre une formation j’imagine car il n’est vraiment pas à sa place …

09/06/2024: We stumbled across L' Amédée as it was located right around the corner from our Airbnb. A beautiful French restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere & delicious food! We struggled to understand the French menus as we don’t speak French but the manager kindly came out to translate each meal for us, which was really appreciated and made us feel so comfortable. We ordered a few small plates/entrees and drinks. We didn’t realise the kitchen closed at 21:30pm but they kindly kept it open for us to order a little later which again was just fantastic. The staff were really helpful and attentive. The food was 10/10 quality, highly recommend ordering the Camembert Surprise & Houmous au citron confit for starters. They stay open later for drinks and to relax in a quiet area of Bordeaux. If you are English/Irish or any nationality, I couldn’t recommend coming here enough. 5 Stars!

08/08/2024: 30 ans que nous sommes clients 👎👎changement plus notre cuisinier parfait les serveuses nouvelles pas polie navrante les plat de sauces pas nettoyé la mis en place pas prête à 19h30 10 minutes d d'attente pour voir quelqu'un arrivé pour être servi PITOYABLE lprix 2 euros en plus pour un jambon 👏👏bon courage j espere que TOUT LES OUVRIERS le midi N y viendront plus !!

15/07/2024: Étonné dès notre entrée, self plutôt que resto. Regardez votre ticket de caisse, erreur intellectuelle ou pas! Un peu déçu.

22/08/2024: On à mangé les trottoirs tellement c’était bon 😀 Sympathique et pittoresques bon accueil chaleureux. Très bonne cuisine

11/09/2024: Grote keuze aan hartige galetten. Zeer smakelijk. Vlotte bediening. Ligt aan een drukke baan en bij verschillende handelszaken.

19/08/2024: Très bonne qualité des produits, service efficace et c’est un Breton qui témoigne. Bonne adresse Service impeccable, rapide. , galettes et crêpes très bonnes.

04/04/2024: Regular customer for 2 years.... today I'm doing my shopping on April 4... ham until April 6... pear activia until April 6... a grandpa told me Mrs. pay attention to the dates of expiry... This concerns me. Butcher shop is not what it used to be... my Easter baekehoffe meat disappointed...

21/03/2024: Convenient for refueling, but there was a problem with the pump.

17/08/2024: We had a huge embarrassment due to the arrogance of an employee. The story was as follows....We hadn't paid for breakfast in advance, so we asked for it to be noted and we would arrange it at check-out (possibility printed on the elevator door). The first two days (09 and 10/08/24) were ok, the staff made appointments and we had coffee. On the 11th, an employee embarrassed us in front of other customers and rudely prevented us from entering the cafe as if we were "deadbeats". The funny thing is that the same "employee", on the day of check-out, charged us for the coffees we had had on the 9th and 10th. I didn't understand how a person who denies us the possibility of having coffee and paying later, charges us the coffees taken in the previous days. We have never experienced this and we certainly do not recommend a hotel that allows this type of treatment with guests.

01/06/2024: Correct, varied and abundant breakfast. Small rooms with good views. You could hear a little noise from other rooms and we would definitely return. good location close to the metro and many restaurants
