07/06/2026: The staff are very friendly, but be warned, the savory buckwheat crepes are tasteless (I ordered the one with trout and leek fondue, and it had no flavor at all), and the dessert crepes are a complete disaster. A simple sugar crepe tasted like a reheated, mass-produced one. Furthermore, orders are sent out in order, meaning that all the savory crepes for the people before us had to be served before our sweet crepe arrived. This is unprofessional.

30/05/2026: We regularly come to Crêperie du Passeur as a family, and it's always a pleasure. The galettes are excellent! The welcome is warm and the service is impeccable. The staff is very friendly, as is the owner, who is always pleasant and attentive. The value for money is excellent, and the setting is both welcoming and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend this place!

05/05/2026: Highly recommended, this restaurant is just steps from the harbor entrance. A warm welcome and delicious food (shrimp and avocado tartare, and the chef's specialty for dessert). A great place to spend time as a couple or with family.

15/06/2026: I gave it 5 stars to avoid damaging the owner's business, but in reality, there were several serious issues. I traveled exclusively in France for 40 days, but this was the first time the main course platter was served before the appetizer. Four dishes were laid out at once on a 45x45cm table (actually smaller than that) in an instant, and naturally, there wasn't enough space, including drinks. On top of that, the table was unbalanced and kept wobbling. I also have a lot to say about the waitress. During the mere hour or so we spent eating the appetizer, main course, and dessert, the waitress broke something twice. We were sitting right next to the cutlery sorting area, and she arranged the forks, knives, and spoons very carelessly, making a lot of noise. We visited at 3 PM, which is by no means a busy time, yet there were several behaviors that were incomprehensible. The owner is incredibly kind. However, the staff working under him act as if they are the owners themselves. I even happened to see it while paying on my way out; the kitchen staff were setting up the food while holding a phone in one hand. If this restaurant wants to continue improving, it seems some minor improvements are needed (although the food was still above average).

25/04/2026: Things got off to a bad start with a cocktail completely spilled all over my jeans! The food needs improvement. Too many (young) waitresses, not enough (male) waiters. The food was good, but not worth such an exorbitant price.

17/06/2026: We had made a dinner reservation as a precaution, but it may not have been necessary as it was not yet high season. Walk-ins were welcome. The menu has many options to choose from. We used Google Translate to decipher the menu. Like many bistros, they had a set menu of entree and plat (appetizer and main dish) or plat and dessert (main dish and dessert). My daughter and I recommend the Duck L'orange. My son enjoyed his burger with camembert sauce and my husband's steak was nicely prepared, though it was more medium than medium -rare. Service was warm and attentive and the meals were well-priced. We had a train to catch and they were considerate in ensuring we could enjoy our meal with time to make our way over to the train station. After exploring the sights, dining here was a wonderful way to end our visit to Rouen!

14/05/2026: Bistrot de Paris is a very nice, classic French restaurant with beautiful old-world charm and a cozy atmosphere. We had made a reservation in advance, which I would recommend. For starters, we had the snails, the Niçoise salad, the ravioli, and the smoked salmon with blini – everything was very good overall. The ravioli, however, were a bit bland for my taste, as the pasta with béchamel sauce and cheese was the main focus. For our main courses, we had the braised beef, the duck, the steak, and the steak tartare. Again, everything was well-prepared. The steak tartare was quite tomatoey, though, which is a matter of taste. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is on the pricier side. Personally, I probably wouldn't come back, as I didn't find the menu particularly extensive and not much of it really appealed to me – but it was definitely a solid French bistro experience nonetheless.

05/12/2025: If you want to get a table, you need to go before 10:00. Once you get a table, you will be in brunch heaven. Yummy pulled pork and egg Benedict will comfort you after the time you spent in the queue. You won't regret waiting.

26/05/2026: They refused to put up parasols even though it was sunny, saying it was because of the wind, but there was no wind that lunchtime. We got sunburned during our meal.

06/06/2026: Tastes are very subjective, it's true, but for me, this is the best ramen in France! Having not been to Japan long enough, I wouldn't dare say the world, but in my heart, it's practically the same ;) The broth, the quantity, the ingredients, and the balance of flavors are perfectly executed, right down to the dessert (matcha tiramisu being a standout). Another testament to its quality: the restaurant has been around for almost 15 years!! I've been a regular since it opened and I've never been disappointed. Although I no longer live in Lyon, I love making pilgrimages back :) So, if you love ramen, go without hesitation, and if you're new to ramen, this is the best place to discover it ❤️ Long live Okawali!
