03/02/2026: Workshop Issé is a grocery store on one side of the street and a restaurant across the street! The grocery store is very well-stocked and also boasts a beautiful collection of sake glasses and other small dishes, chopstick rests, etc. They also sell high-quality sake, making it a meeting point for sake lovers and connoisseurs! We had lunch at the restaurant across the street: a simple and tasty menu in a calm and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The dishes arrived quickly after we sat down. The taste, the flavors, and the aromas were delightful! The menu changes daily and can be viewed on their website. A discovery to be repeated as soon as possible! Domo arigaro! どうもありがとう!

05/04/2026: We had a very good meal there and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The nice restaurant was a 10-minute bike ride from the camping car park. The owner kindly locked our bikes in a garage for us during our stay.

13/02/2026: A hidden gem in Ascain! This little bar-restaurant is simply perfect. You can feel the genuine passion, from the appetizers to the cheese course, with top-quality Basque regional products. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. Special mention goes to the owner: dedicated, friendly, and attentive. An authentic place just the way we like them, I highly recommend it!

13/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance one evening while passing through Ascain. Honestly, you have to go! We had a very good meal with excellent cuisine made from fresh ingredients. The service was friendly.

25/03/2026: A customer for years with my children, I can confirm the quality of this establishment. Everything is perfect! A welcoming owner, always with a smile. The pizzas? A real treat! At over 40, I've had them many times! And I can confirm they are excellent. This place is worth a visit. When I see the comment above, I'm stunned. So yes! Surely an electrical outlet isn't up to code, a spoon hasn't been disinfected every 3 minutes in 6 different baths, the tomato sauce isn't 45 cm away from the pesto sauce… Possible! I'm very sad about this closure, and I don't see the point in kicking people who are struggling. We eagerly await the reopening and we'll be there. Take care and see you very soon.

22/04/2026: We've come twice to eat and both times we weren't served, they didn't even come to take our orders or anything. There was never anyone there either time; only one other customer was present. Avoid at all costs!

12/04/2026: Whenever we travel between Spain and Munich, we always make a culinary stop here. Everything we've eaten here so far has been delicious, the atmosphere is great, the service is super friendly, and the prices are fair. For us, it's the best food in France, thank you!

29/03/2026: Overall, the pizzas looked good. But as for the pasta… it's the first time I've been served a "carbonara" with cream and ham… The lasagna didn't have béchamel sauce, and basically, the pasta dishes were hardly representative of Italy. The service was generally efficient. We had simply asked them to turn the music down because of hearing problems and hypersensitivity. After a while, I asked again because we hadn't noticed any difference, and the waiter told me it had been turned down and left without addressing the issue. I had to go outside for 20 minutes because the noise was too much.

23/03/2026: Quick service, very good on that front 👍 thank you However, unfortunately the pizza 🍕 was very hard, perhaps overcooked, I don't know, I'm not a professional! Or maybe I was just really unlucky. From what I remember, they were as good as the ones in Buxy!

21/04/2026: Superb experience! Plenty of space to park a box truck and right next to the race track – perfect! The young couple had just taken over the establishment a few days prior, and we ate and slept very well. We had the pleasure of chatting with them at the end of our shift, which was lovely. We'll definitely be back for our next track day in Dijon. Well done to them!
