05/09/2025: This September 4th, there were two of us on a terrace for a beer and a shandy, I gave a €20 note, I received the change, I didn't check and later I realized that I had been cheated out of €10... I invite customers to check carefully and not to trust them too much! because without a receipt it's difficult to go back and complain!

25/08/2025: I came to the place on Saturday, August 23rd with a colleague and 2 residents with disabilities. We had been to Carrefour before to buy something to eat and drink for the residents. We sat down and asked for the menu. So far, no problems. The waitress then came back to take our order, I kindly told her that we were going to have 2 cafés crème and also asked if we could have glasses and spoons for the residents. The waitress said yes, and asked me what she was putting in the glasses. I told her that we had already bought what was needed for them, the waitress told me that it was not possible because it was a bar and that here we served drinks. In principle, I could understand. The waitress then went to see her boss who from the beginning did not deign to say hello, so in terms of friendliness we will pass. And the person starts yelling "Oh no, out of the question, it doesn't work like that in the bars in Charleville" that's all, I tell the waitress that we're leaving. I spoke to several of my colleagues who told me that she had no problem having only a coffee, and having already bought what was needed for the residents, so I don't understand at all why we were refused for things that had already been accepted with others. Rudeness, no friendliness and disrespect from the woman who yelled in the restaurant. My colleague and I were shocked, I do not recommend it at all.

25/03/2026: Super establishment. We took the express package. 28 euros for starter/main course/dessert. Including 25 cl of wine. Delicious!!!!!! Friendly service and super tasty food. We will definitely be back!!!!!!

17/11/2025: Positive points: Restaurant open on Mondays (important when other restaurants are closed) Local meat (beef), Meat flavor and sauce (good), Presentation (well done), Quick service (ate in half an hour). Easy access. Parking. Negative points: Price €26.20 for a main course and drink (too expensive). I've eaten better for less. Slightly unusual welcome (a question that surprised me upon entry) Minor service error: serving a Coke without showing the bottle to the customer (was it a small or large bottle??) Dry bread (apparently pre-cut). Vegetable flavor (average) Quantity (limited) Cooking method (not requested when ordering) Dessert: White chocolate mousse on orange marmalade: more beautiful than tasty (a shame - nothing special). No contactless payment (apparently you have to enter the code).

24/03/2026: I've NEVER ever been treated so rudely by a place's staff in my entire life. Absolutely unprofessional. I don't recommend visiting.

08/03/2026: We discovered the Bel Asie restaurant, which welcomed us unexpectedly at 8:30 pm. I wasn't disappointed. The dishes were very good and generous. The only downside: the decor, which was a bit drab and old-fashioned for my taste.

08/05/2026: A magical place, top-notch and always smiling servers, delicious food, and an incredible owner who offered us a digestif and even took the time to sit with us and chat with some locals from Marseille. Simply a WONDERFUL place!!!

08/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening! The meal was perfect! The welcome was warm and the staff were fantastic! We drove 50 minutes specifically to come back and eat at this restaurant. We highly recommend it!

14/04/2026: Passing through the area for lunch during the week, this restaurant was a good choice. The food was good and reasonably priced. It had a sunny terrace. My only slight complaint was the way the tables were positioned; the sun was directly in my line of sight.

20/02/2026: Not enough variety in the hot dishes and snacks, which is a shame because if you come regularly you always eat the same thing. They should make an effort with the presentation of the food served in a rather unappealing container... Otherwise, the pastries are very good and the service is friendly.

25/04/2026: I had a very bad experience on several occasions. During my visit, while other customers were being served at the counter, I was asked to sit on the terrace for no clear reason, and the staff became irritated when I explained that I was in a hurry. Another time, I was told that coffee was “not normally served at this time,” even though others were drinking it. I also heard negative comments about foreigners, which is very disturbing. This creates a strong sense of unequal treatment. It's all the more incomprehensible coming from someone who seems to be of immigrant origin himself. It's a shame, because I work nearby, but I won't be going back.
