16/04/2026: Perfect, nothing to complain about. The truck parking area is a bit bumpy (be careful with low-clearance vehicles), but being right by the water is a real pleasure. The owner and his wife are lovely, and the food is varied and very good. If you're a football fan, you'll be in heaven! 😉

10/12/2025: A little gem. As someone who loves tagines, I wasn't disappointed (kefta/eggs), with a side of vegetables. Yum! My husband, who isn't usually a fan of this type of dish, practically drooled over my plate and promised to order it on our next visit. The welcome, service, and cleanliness were all top-notch. I recommend it 100%!

22/03/2026: Although we hadn't made a reservation and all the restaurants (including this one) were fully booked that evening, the owner managed to accommodate us by finding a solution. In the end, we didn't regret being turned away elsewhere, as the evening was such a success! It's a friendly, family-run establishment with a very pleasant, down-to-earth atmosphere. The raclette was excellent and, above all, very generous. For dessert, the French toast-style brioche was initially offered with salted caramel, but the chef kindly agreed to serve us homemade chocolate sauce at our request; we greatly appreciated this gesture. A very good address that we will definitely remember for our next visits to Vars.

18/05/2026: To all lovers of efficient and delicious lunch breaks, Sushi Yaki has become, over the weeks, one of my most faithful habits. I go back almost every week during my lunch break, quite eloquent proof that it's not just a passing gastronomic whim. The atmosphere is convivial, the welcome warm, and the products offered are of good quality. You can tell this is a place that knows its clientele perfectly: busy but discerning regulars, looking for a pleasant moment without sacrificing the pleasure of good food. The only slight regret, because there has to be one to maintain a critical eye as a reviewer, lies in the absence of sashimi on the buffet. Its presence would undoubtedly have sealed the deal for the most discerning among us. Nevertheless, it remains a place I readily recommend, particularly for a regular, simple, and efficient lunch, with just the right amount of generosity to make the return to the office a little less daunting.

30/04/2026: The phone reception was unpleasant; they didn't let me finish speaking before taking my order. I ordered a pizza with mussels, but the problem was that it wasn't cleaned at all. The snail pizza had no flavor; it's supposed to have homemade snail butter, but it was completely tasteless.

20/04/2026: As always at this restaurant, we're never disappointed. If you want to treat your friends, take them to this place...it's very friendly and welcoming. The service is perfect, and of course, the food is delicious. But reservations are essential because it's so popular.

11/04/2026: First visit to The Chip Shop for a sit down meal and we certainly weren't dissappointed. The Chip Shop team are really friendly and service with smiles. The fish 'n' chips were absolutely lovely, and the mushy peas were great too. All in all a great place to eat, will definitely return. Thanks to everyone.

15/04/2026: I didn't risk eating when I saw the waitress's dirty fingernails. I only had a coffee. Meanwhile, I observed two waitresses on their break, smoking a cigarette and drinking coffee—nothing unusual, but it was unacceptable that they were mocking the customers, assuming that tourists don't speak French.
