21/07/2026: Hello We made a quick stop at Philippe's today, and let's just say we don't plan on returning. While the welcome from a young man was quite pleasant, an older waitress became rather unpleasant after we asked two questions. The first was: what does "IRL" mean next to "steak haché" (minced steak), and the second was about the possibility of removing the tomato from the burger due to an allergy. Her response was somewhat aggressive. Although it was extremely busy, I think a minimum of courtesy and politeness is necessary. As for the food, we ordered a warm goat cheese salad, which was swimming in sauce (tasting of water, not vinaigrette) with an excessive amount of garlic. The only positive point was the warm goat cheese toast (but it was cold...). The dessert was good nonetheless... but it didn't redeem the meal.

25/06/2026: A very warm welcome! We arrived unexpectedly. I enjoyed a delicious Grimbergen beer there, which I unfortunately couldn't find in stores. After a long drive... this little stop on the terrace was much appreciated! Thank you!

09/07/2026: I just got out of there and I had chicken pho. I had to run to the bathroom to throw up, along with all the other symptoms of food poisoning... I'm calling the health department!!!

02/07/2026: Comparing to the Vietnamese food that I've had in SF bay area, specifically San Jose, it's hard to compete. Beef bun (dry rice noodle with beef and fried egg roll) - The egg roll is legit! They used rice paper for the skin, even many famous Vietnamese restaurant may not use them and just used the Chinese egg roll wrapper. The fish sauce is excellent. Fish sauce is the heart and soul of Vietnamese food. You made good fish sauce, you have half the success of making Vietnamese food. The beef usually are grilled but not here. The rice noodle is thicker than the authentic one but when in France... Things are different. Beef pho - I tried the soup, it's not bad but it's not the authentic beef bone soup. Nevertheless, it's pretty good. The beef are of good quality. All in all, it's nice to have decent pho on Paris.

30/06/2026: We went to eat with colleagues at this charming place. The servers were very friendly and pleasant. The food was a delight. Truly! From the ribeye steak and sea bream to the salads and frogs' legs, everything was fresh and delicious. And the desserts were equally impressive. The setting is idyllic. A change of scenery just 15-20 minutes from the center of Lyon. Highly recommended!

22/07/2026: A very warm welcome awaited us as we enjoyed two half-pints of beer served with breadsticks and crisps, overlooking the charming port of Villefranche-sur-Mer. The staff were very welcoming and attentive!

18/07/2026: This is the second time I've had a lovely time at this establishment. The food is very good, the staff are very friendly and smiling, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The only downside... no cocktails without bubbles 😛

28/07/2026: Staff is very friendly and the service is insanely quick. I don't know how they manage to serve such high quality meals so quickly (we had pizza and pasta). Great cocktails too!

28/07/2026: We were referred from Campanile Alençon. It is within walking distance of the hotel. From the outside, the building doesn't look particularly inviting, but it is a spacious, pleasant, and tidy establishment. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly by several staff members. The service was also very pleasant and efficient. We received our drinks and meal quickly. We paid about 50 euros for a virgin Moscow Mule, Rigatoni Burrata, a pizza, and a cocktail. Everything was freshly prepared, very tasty, and the portions were more than sufficient.

22/07/2026: I recommend the good beers, the menu is excellent, the owners are very friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the terrace is superb.

17/07/2026: A fantastic, very friendly place. Romance is incredibly kind and attentive to her customers and friends, including our little Astral. She always has a small ice cube for refreshments, thank you! 😘

26/07/2026: Excellent food! Quality ingredients! A proper children's menu with delicious prepared dishes, including a proper starter! Saturday menus: €26 or €33 for a starter, main course, and dessert. Set menus: main course only, starter and main course, main course and dessert, or even starter and dessert. Children's menu: €15 or €12 without a starter.

07/06/2026: Delicious meal with high-quality ingredients. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was perfect, as were the welcome and service.

29/06/2026: Divine cuisine at an extremely reasonable price. The rooftop is perfect for enjoying the chef's dishes and the sunset. Bravo!

21/06/2026: Steak was poorly cooked. Medium rare was the request but my guess is it was taken out of the fridge cold and seared. The reviews look great so perhaps this restaurant only cares about your experience if your local. Overall: Extremely disappointing. In response to the owners comment: Thank you for confirming your chef sear a steak straight from the fridge and didn't try to reverse sear it. A half decent chef would have made this steak edible. Also for future reference, if a grown man comes to your restaurant and orders a steak and he sends it back to the kitchen less than half eaten, you should know there is an issue.

27/05/2026: I had some doubts before coming. But the warm welcome upon arrival, followed by excellent service, made for a great start. My choices of dishes were guided towards judicious pairings. I was initially impressed by the welcome and the service. I ate, in order: snails, the fish of the day, and a crème brûlée. The snails: an original touch compared to the classic presentation. Removed from their shells, they were garnished with mushrooms and tomatoes. It was so successful that I ate two-thirds of the bread that accompanied them. All the flavors were harmoniously blended, but the snails remained the highlight. The fish of the day was accompanied by asparagus and green beans, and enhanced with a delicious lemon sauce. In a word: breathtaking. The fresh vegetables and the fish could have been presented in such a balanced and harmonious way. The sauce was so succulent that the rest of the bread was devoured along with it. And now for dessert. Crème brûlée is the iconic dessert of this region. The crispy sugar is cooked to perfection, and the balance between vanilla and milk is perfect. In my opinion, it's an excellent choice for a simple yet satisfying end to a meal. In short: whatever your expectations, come and let yourself be seduced by this refined menu.
