06/07/2026: We came to eat the spit-roasted suckling pig, which was very good. We agree with other comments about the service; indeed, don't be in a hurry as everyone eats at the same time, so plan to leave the table around 4 pm. The setting is really pleasant, no complaints there. The menu is also very affordable and the food is good; however, the menu is set, so you have to like everything. (For example, we didn't eat the dessert, which we didn't like, but that's part of the experience, I suppose.) Our main complaint was with the service. They bring the dishes without telling you what they are; they just put the plate down and that's it. (For example, we were served a plate of assorted toasts, but we didn't know what they were. My wife is allergic to certain foods like figs and chestnuts, so it would have been nice to simply know what was on our plates.) They don't ask if you'd like anything other than what's served (for example, still or sparkling water). Finally, the coffee served isn't espresso, so coffee lovers will be disappointed.

29/07/2026: We didn't even have time to eat because the owner's smile and friendly tone quickly drove us away. Frankly unpleasant.

29/07/2026: Today, July 29, 2026. Where is the soul of Coucaril...the soul of the mother who welcomed us for years with her kindness and smile...lost...we were turned away by a fire-breathing, heartless man...while tables were empty, claiming that at 9 pm she only serves savory food. We can still read the message on the door that said: sweets at 9 pm...poor Coucaril...how sad...so little courtesy.

17/07/2026: I know this brasserie well, having returned several times. I've never been disappointed! It's a cozy place where you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The dishes are generous, well-balanced, and delicious. The service and attention to customer care are consistently excellent. A simple and pleasant break, just the way we like it, with that little extra something that makes you want to come back.

12/07/2026: We came one evening in July when it was one of the few restaurants open in town, trusting in the restaurant's decent average rating. The dishes were tasteless, with a distinct frozen-thaw flavor. I ordered a roasted Camembert salad; everything was swimming in a flavorless sauce, the Camembert itself was tasteless, the breading was soggy, and there were a few pieces of sour apple. It's a shame for a restaurant that boasts a Gault & Millau guide. We left feeling disgusted. Far too expensive for such poor quality.

29/05/2026: A nicely laid-out little restaurant. Friendly staff and quick service. One small drawback: at almost €15 for a pizza with extremely thin toppings and crust, it's overpriced.

03/02/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at Pret today. I come in everyday and the employees are usually very friendly; however, today a tall big Indian guy was rude to me. He laughed when I tried to order in French, but when I spoke English he was rude to serve me too. I did not understand as I have never experienced this at Pret…He just laughed and ignored what I was saying. I hope the owner can reply to this message / tell the employee to treat customers better….

15/07/2026: The food was fine, but the service, oh my god, we didn't even order dessert because the waiter kept throwing our doggy bags at the table. All the waitresses and waiters had grim faces.

25/07/2026: Avoid this restaurant. It should change its name to Casa Éclatée! The service was terrible from start to finish. We had to get the menus ourselves and then wait ages before being served. We had simply come for lunch as a family, but the welcome was a disaster. The glasses were dirty, the cutlery was hastily placed, and no one offered us an aperitif. We really got the impression that serving customers bothered them. If working is such a chore, perhaps they should consider a career change. It's no wonder the restaurant was almost empty. As for the menu, there's ham everywhere… a little variety wouldn't hurt. Good luck with everything, but as for us, we won't be back.
