05/09/2026: When I’m in Paris, I admittedly tend to gravitate toward traditional French food, but sometimes it pays to step outside your usual routine. A Haitian-American friend recommended Riz Djondjon, so a friend and I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad we did. I ordered the Fritay Griot, and what a wonderful combination of flavors and textures. The pork was incredibly savory and tender, with those delicious crisp edges, accompanied by sweet potato fries, fried plantains, accras, pikliz and salad. The sweet potato fries were some of the freshest I can remember having — crisp, piping hot and clearly freshly prepared. Even the salad stood out, with a bright, tangy flavor that worked beautifully against the richness of the meat. What I especially loved about the platter was the mélange of flavors — savory, sweet, tangy, spicy and crispy all sharing the same plate. Every few bites tasted a little different depending on what you paired together, which made the whole meal fun to eat. My friend’s meal was equally generous and delicious. I also loved the atmosphere. It was great to see a mix of local Parisians and Haitians enjoying the restaurant, and the location is fantastic — just steps from the beautiful Porte Saint-Denis, which provided a pretty spectacular backdrop to our meal. Definitely a departure from my usual Paris dining routine, and a very worthwhile one. I thoroughly enjoyed everything and would absolutely return. 🇭🇹🇫🇷

15/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant, located on the main square in Cheverny, serves delicious and generously topped pizzas. The desserts are homemade, and the service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended.

18/04/2026: What a wonderful discovery this beachfront hotel was! Our rooms had ocean views, a feast for the eyes every day, and even at breakfast! The breakfasts were generous, with fresh bread, pastries, and local products! The staff were incredibly attentive, a lovely team of young, dynamic, and very friendly people! The rooms were spotless. The hotel has parking and bicycle storage. Everything is there for a pleasant stay! Thank you again for your hospitality!

05/07/2026: La Mirabelle is much more than a restaurant; it's a rare experience. A former head saucier at Ducasse, Chef Olga is a true magician of flavors. At her restaurant, routine doesn't exist: you never eat the same thing twice, and each dish is an original, sublime creation, executed with absolute technical precision. Everything is meticulously planned. In the dining room, Richard is the perfect host. Attentive and passionate, he knows how to describe Olga's cuisine with an accuracy that perfectly conveys all the chef's genius and inventiveness. An exceptional duo for a simply unforgettable experience. Go there, but remember to book.

You can tell he loves sharing his knowledge, and it makes the tasting even more enjoyable. A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it!

05/09/2026: Very average. The pasta was indeed fresh, but not at all salty. The gorgonzola sauce was very runny, so instead of eating it with the pasta, it just stayed on the plate. The carbonara was simply dry, but generously topped with guanciale. Apparently, this is normal and done on purpose to appeal to the widest possible range of customers.

06/08/2026: Good value for money. We had a very good meal. Serves two. Cold buffet with starter, main course, and dessert. Less than 40 euros. Air-conditioned dining room. Perfect.

27/07/2026: A quick and easy dinner on our journey. The appetizer buffet was very well-stocked and varied, with a choice of three main courses and three desserts. Our meals were very good. Even though we weren't truck drivers, we received a very warm welcome and were served quickly. Thank you for being open in the evening. I recommend this restaurant.
