02/03/2026: I wanted to tell you about a place I particularly love: Le Limitrophe, in Leers. As soon as you walk through the door, you know you're not in just any bar or restaurant. The owner welcomes you into the dining room with genuine warmth and sincerity. He takes his time, exchanges a few words, and makes sure everyone feels comfortable. You immediately sense the family atmosphere of the place. In the kitchen, his brother puts all his expertise into the dishes. Their couscous is a real triumph. The meat is exceptionally tender and flavorful. The semolina is fine, light, and perfectly prepared. The vegetables, generous and simmered in their own juices, have that authentic taste that makes all the difference. It's the kind of place you happily return to, as much for the quality of the food as for the warm welcome. A genuine, welcoming place where you eat well and feel right at home.

27/07/2026: They accommodated a menu change for our dietary needs which was appreciated but it felt like we paid for this in poor service and rude attitude from our main server for the rest of the evening. Some of the other servers were a bit more friendly. Food was ok but nothing exceptional. Their sister restaurant is a lot better.

24/06/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with fairly quick service. The plates are more than full, as evidenced by the number of customers who have a pizza box or carton to take home. Taking it home proves it's too good to leave... and that you want to save room for dessert 😃 very indulgent! Visited in May for a family birthday; the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and the service was impeccable.... 👍👍👏👏

15/07/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars except for the atmosphere, because the food and service were truly excellent. However, there was one thing that bothered me a lot. Seeing a waiter, who was very friendly, professional, and impeccable throughout the entire service, being reprimanded in front of the customers was really inappropriate. Honestly, I was on the verge of saying something, but I held back. This kind of situation makes both the staff and the customers uncomfortable. It's a shame, because it tarnishes what would have been a perfect experience.

15/06/2026: This is the perfect place to enjoy excellent cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Attentive service and a family-run establishment. We will definitely return on our next trips to Port-Vendres in Spain.

14/07/2026: I'm revising my review because the flan disappointed me. I think I tasted the previous owner's flan a few years ago. Now I find it okay, but nothing special. The puff pastry was slightly undercooked; I imagine it wasn't pre-baked long enough. The slice was small, and the icing sugar on top was really unnecessary. Also, I ended up with a hard piece of pastry in the flan filling, so I don't quite understand what happened.

06/07/2026: We need to stop justifying exorbitant prices for eating pastries on the premises, with a markup of over 25% for on-site consumption!

25/04/2026: Very quick and efficient service; if you're in a hurry, this is the perfect place. It's a bit like the local canteen, and if you're willing to sit at the large table, the atmosphere is good and lively. The menu is simple, so don't expect fine dining ;-)

03/07/2026: A 10/10 restaurant!! We went as a family and Sephora served us. She's an incredible and professional person, one of the few left in the restaurant business. She helped us choose everything, even though we don't speak French and she doesn't speak English. As for the food, it was simply spectacular, the fondue was incredible and the raclette magnificent. A must-visit if you're in Tours. French Version. A fantastic restaurant!!! We went as a family and were served by Sephora, an incredible and very professional person, one of the few left in the restaurant industry. 10/05/2026: Very disappointed. The gentleman was very kind; we bought seven different desserts, and he gave us a "day-old" Paris-Brest. Unfortunately, they were all probably several days old and were dry, so we didn't even try the last cake.
