11/06/2026: A very pleasant stay at this establishment almost a year ago (2025). The room was lovely with a river view, the welcome was excellent, and the food was 10/10, all homemade. The quiche was excellent, the slice of grilled ham was delicious, the desserts were pretty and tasty, and the breakfast buffet was great. I highly recommend this establishment in Haybes-sur-Meuse. If you love nature, you'll fall under the spell of Haybes-sur-Meuse.

It's worth noting that they are pursuing demanding studies but are very much present alongside their father. For that reason alone, you can go without hesitation. 15/04/2026: Hello, I arrived around 1:15 pm. There was very little wait for a table, even though it was quite busy. The welcome was fantastic, with smiling staff. The simple, home-style cooking was very good; the roast turkey melted in your mouth, the homemade fries were delicious... and there was a good selection of desserts. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend it!

16/05/2026: The decor is unusual, the staff in costume. No particular atmosphere. Classic dishes, but well-prepared. Warm welcome from the owner. Set menu, you get the impression you'll get too much, but not at all. A 15cl glass of wine or apple juice as an aperitif is a bit stingy. However, allow 2 hours. The "foudres" (a type of small, round cake) are distributed sparingly, so you might have to wait 15 minutes to continue your starter. They bring you the main course you haven't finished, the rillettes, because they've run out of "foudre," and so on. The cheese course arrives before you've been refilled with "foudres" to finish the rillettes and mogettes... And then they give you one "foudre" each! The waitress was unpleasant. We had the misfortune of saying we thought we'd been forgotten, and we received three consecutive remarks. She practically crushed the "foudres" in the basket with a curt "Is that all right with you?" in a very appropriate tone. If it hadn't been a set menu, we would have left. The staff were running around like crazy, you could feel the tension. At the beginning of the meal, I wanted to come back with my husband, but I definitely won't be going back!

04/04/2026: I came because of the good reviews, but it was ultimately very disappointing. The food is good, although the tagines were rather small. I would therefore recommend the couscous, which is much more generous! After a reservation for 8, upon arrival, the waiter had already assigned our table, so we had to wait 5-10 minutes while he moved people in the middle of their meal. • Then he seated us at dirty tables, some without cutlery, others without glasses. • The table was loose, and I had to fix it myself with my knife to avoid having the tray on my lap. • The waiter was drinking alcohol, much more than was advisable during service. (At least two 1664 beers and cocktails, asking the cook where the vodka and whiskey were) • Inappropriate jokes and advances, asking if one of my friends was married because he thought she looked cute with her glasses. • Openly asking for tips because we seemed well-off. • We had to endure the same music on repeat six or seven times; I now know Rihanna by heart. • The tea service: the waiter, quite tipsy, wanted to demonstrate his tea-serving skills from a great height, splashing me and my friends with scalding water without even realizing it. • Finally, the bill. The waiter was staggering, unable to fully open his eyes, asking us, the customers, the price of what we had eaten. The tagines, initially €16, became €17 or €18. We demanded a refund for the difference, and he threw us onto the counter. All those red coins screaming (and reeking of alcohol) that it was impossible he could have made a mistake. We were finally able to get a refund, but not without difficulty. Therefore, I deplore the service and the waiter; I absolutely do not recommend the establishment solely because of this, as the food was good, but the experience was ruined. We will never return.

13/05/2026: After reading the reviews, I was expecting to be pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! Unfortunately, that wasn't the case... €50 for two courses à la carte: the set menu wasn't available... and 50cl of wine, for dishes that weren't exactly a treat... The set menu seemed more affordable, but you have to arrive early to get it because by 1 p.m. it was already sold out... Plus, the service was VERY slow... On the other hand, they do warn you about it when you arrive, which is nice!
