18/05/2026: Pause Café is one of those places I've known for a long time. I used to come here back when my acroyoga classes were at Studio Keller, and I've enjoyed returning over the years, whether for coffee, brunch, alone, with my daughter, or a friend. I really like the owner and his daughter, and there's something familiar and lively about the place that I've always cherished. The experience is sometimes inconsistent: the welcome can lack a bit of warmth or attentiveness depending on the day, and a few improvements to the upkeep would make the place even more pleasant. Despite this, it's a neighborhood spot that's one of my Parisian landmarks, and one I always return to with pleasure.

30/03/2026: We're so glad we ignored the negative reviews before booking. We spent four nights there exploring the surrounding area. The initial welcome was a little cold, but within ten minutes, we were in good spirits. The rooms aren't huge, but they were perfectly adequate. Our dog was very welcome (at no extra charge). And the restaurant... We don't usually eat at the hotel every night to try out the local restaurants, but we enjoyed excellent food there all four evenings. Very reasonable prices. Excellent and friendly service. With a few degrees warmer, it would have been lovely to be able to enjoy the terrace. So, no regrets about this booking. We'd gladly return with friends.

16/06/2026: This restaurant refuses to refund an order cancelled two minutes after placing it. I do not recommend this kind of practice; good food is one thing, but stealing from customers is another.

16/05/2026: Very friendly service and food as you would expect from an Indian restaurant. The ambiance is a bit dark. Prices are normal. A menu in English (or German) would make menu selection and ordering much easier for non-French-speaking guests.

28/03/2026: Passing through Thônes for the weekend, we had lunch at this restaurant. What a wonderful discovery! The main course and homemade dessert were superb, with wonderful flavors in everything from the salad dressing to the various sauces for the dishes: diots (sausages), tartiflette, porchetta, fish and chips... The service was impeccable. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity.

20/01/2026: A very friendly welcome, the daily menu and desserts were excellent. We stumbled upon it by chance after a visit to the Sica des Alpages farm where the cheeses are reasonably priced.
