30/11/2025: ⭐ A wonderful time at "II Castello Pizza" in Maisse! We enjoyed delicious pizzas with a thin and flavorful crust, just the way we like them. The owner and his partner were friendly, welcoming, and truly lovely, which made the experience even better. We even got to exchange a few tips about chili peppers… but shh, we won't say any more, it's our little secret 😉 We'll gladly come back to try their homemade chili peppers! 14/10/2025: Top-notch pizza, we've been ordering from this pizzeria ever since they opened six years ago, and the quality hasn't changed. The pizzas are good. The welcome is friendly. I highly recommend it.

23/06/2026: This is the best pizza i've eaten in France☺️my favourite is tex mex and my husband loves American. I love the discount card too,to be able to pay only half price for the pizza☺️ there is always many cheese and other ingredients on every pizza and especially minced beef is very tender!! I recommend ☺️🍕🍕

06/08/2026: Really nice restaurant with a beautiful terrace!! We came here for dinner and really enjoyed it. The cold lentil soup (suggestion of the day) was super refreshing, and the slow-cooked lamb for two was absolutely delicious - so tender and flavourful. The only small miss was the wine. We asked for a recommendation, but it didn’t match our style. No big deal though—everyone’s taste is different. Would happily come back. Highly recommend!

06/08/2026: Third time visiting L'Envers du Décor, and I have to say I think it's gone downhill a bit. The atmosphere is still the best thing about this place—exactly what you'd expect from a lively French bistro, with plenty of character and a great buzz. Unfortunately, the food really fell short this time. We had the T-bone steak and steak tartare, among other dishes, and I mention the meat because everyone who ate it ended up feeling sick later that night. It was really disappointing given how much we'd enjoyed our previous visits. The service wasn't great either. We had to wait around 10 minutes for our side dishes after our mains had already arrived, and our waitress wasn't particularly friendly or attentive. Overall, it was a disappointing experience compared to our previous visits. I hope this was just an off night, but based on this visit, I'd be hesitant to return

03/08/2026: Noooooooo I came at 12:30 pm on Monday, August 3rd, and found it was closed... The store had a sign on the door saying it was closed on Mondays, but Google Maps showed it was open as usual. I really want to eat fish and chips 🥲

Music Festival or not, heatwave or not, nothing justifies the aggressive behavior of the servers when you're part of a group ordering drinks and someone simply asks for a glass of water in 40°C heat. Their reaction was completely disproportionate, as they literally told me, word for word, "GET OUT!" Not to mention the rather dubious late-night card payment fee... Don't bother replying to my comment with your fake diplomacy, courtesy of ChatGPT, because no, I won't give you a chance.

28/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. The bartender, Corentin, was rude, impatient, and clearly unwelcoming to customers who don't speak fluent French. Instead of trying to help, he adopted a dismissive and aggressive attitude. This behavior is unacceptable in an establishment open to the public. I do not recommend this place until this problem is resolved.

08/06/2026: Excellent, very warm welcome, the quality of the burger is magnificent, the daily specials are mouthwatering and all this for a very reasonable price, I don't just recommend it, I highly recommend it.

11/06/2026: As a lover of pastries and good bread in general, I consider this bakery a benchmark in Paris. Of course, the classics are excellent; the croissant and pain au chocolat are perfectly flaky, don't crumble, aren't dry, and remain light in the center—you can taste the true flavor of good butter. The same goes for the brioches. Then there are all the "house" creations, which you won't find anywhere else: the pistachio and chocolate puff pastry presented as a combed turnover, the praline puff pastry with real homemade praline (which is rare), the blackcurrant and pistachio roll, the cinnamon roll... I think the pastry chef must really have a blast. The snacks are also original, and the taste and quality are impeccable. Over the years, I've especially noticed that the quality remains consistent throughout the year. I never come to Paris without leaving the Gare de Lyon and stopping to try something. So run there too!

Everything here is delightful: the setting, the beautiful dining room, the wine, the food, the welcome, the service… Without even reaching the town center, we found exactly what we were looking for, with unbeatable value for money. Truly a great place!

10/07/2026: Perfect! We went as a family and had a wonderful time. I don't understand some of the comments about the service because we found it absolutely fantastic! Lots of humor and everything is done to make everyone feel comfortable. They really took care of us. The meal was excellent. Plus, the place was nice and cool, which was great in this heat! Thank you to the team for a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend it!

Each dish was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The attentive and discreet service made our evening even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved this place where you feel right at home, but with a touch of excellence. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to all lovers of fine cuisine.
