26/02/2026: We enjoyed everything. The service was efficient and discreet. We have no particular comments about the dishes, which we loved and enjoyed very much.

15/02/2026: We had high expectations for this dinner, hoping the chef team would showcase their creativity with fresh, local ingredients. The service was good and the staff were friendly, but the food was a letdown. Most of the dishes were underwhelming—not terrible, but lacking the spark you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The only standouts were the bread and the smoked tuna. The rest felt forgettable. The pork dish was especially disappointing: it didn’t taste good, the sauce was too salty, and the pork itself was tough and dry—fully cooked but not tender, with no clear flavor or concept behind it. It left us wondering what the restaurant was trying to highlight with this seasonal menu. In France, many places use local ingredients with excellent results. Unfortunately, L’Oiseau Bleu didn’t deliver that same level of thought or taste. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. Dk why google took me review down.

07/01/2026: Best restaurant discovery of all in Marseille and the surrounding area. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything is perfect, from the welcome to the atmosphere, and I'm not even mentioning the food! The dishes are simply delicious!! The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality served. There's definitely some serious skill in the kitchen. A must-try, or even a place to make your new go-to spot.

22/03/2026: There was no finesse in these dishes: the meat was barely flavorful, the pork belly was almost burnt, the caramelized onions were overly sweet, and the fries were overcooked. Only the salad was acceptable, although it was very, and in my opinion, overly, dressed. All this for €21, so poor value for money.

17/02/2026: Delicious sweet and savory crepes with sophisticated and original recipes. The staff is welcoming and friendly. In short, it was perfect. Plus, the nearby parking is a bonus for those who don't want to walk on rainy days!

27/02/2026: We called to reserve a table for four, specifying that we had a stroller. Upon arrival, everything was perfectly arranged: we had plenty of room to comfortably set up the stroller, which was really appreciated. The welcome was warm, and the staff, both in the dining room and the kitchen, were smiling and attentive. Another real plus: the restaurant is very well equipped for families, with high chairs and a changing table available. Changing tables are unfortunately very rare in restaurants; you hardly ever find them, and as parents, this is a really important feature. It's a real comfort and shows genuine consideration for families. We had a very good meal; it was delicious. We will definitely be back! 😊

23/03/2026: I had an exceptional experience here. 7 of us in total. Only one person can speak French. The food was great from the starter to dessert. I got bone marrow for the starter. It was fantastic. The fish dish (whole fish). was tender and well seasoned. Dessert was great. The chef and his mom all came out to chat with us in the end. We even got to meet their dogs!

07/03/2026: Passing through for the holidays, we arrived late in the evening and stopped there, not wanting McDonald's. And what a surprise! A real Japanese restaurant! Not one of those cheap Chinese buffet knock-offs. A proper menu, with dishes that only those in the know understand. What a culinary journey! Jasmine tea to accompany it, perfect. The music, even though it was Japanese rock, was a nice change and really not unpleasant. In short, a good time, a pleasant surprise.

06/03/2026: A Michelin star, a magnificent dining room, beautiful glassware, and silver cutlery. Dinner promised to be a wonderful Valentine's Day! However, it was marred by several missteps. The cuisine was certainly creative, but stingy, using simple, inexpensive ingredients for four out of the six courses, and the desserts were disappointing. The cheese platter was excellent, though, and we didn't refuse it given the meager portions. From the very first bite, we encountered an ingredient we had specifically requested be avoided (in which case, why ask us a few days prior?), the wines were poor value for money, and the desserts were bland and uninspiring. Two members of staff were arrogant. Also worth noting: the only restroom in the establishment offered only cold water for handwashing. Only the chef seemed honest, although he was surprised that we weren't particularly impressed by some of the dishes. We expect better from this "starred" establishment, which would do well to improve. There are few reviews on Google, but I'm making the effort to prevent some people from having this very disappointing experience in the capital of French gastronomy!

21/03/2026: The value for money was far below expectations: €29.90 for couscous with two mini kebabs. It was impossible to get raisins and chickpeas/sauce on the table because "it's for everyone," so we had to ask again, feeling like we were bothering them. And to top it all off, when it came time to pay: "We'll take the restaurant menu, but only for lunch": unheard of!

21/03/2026: Excellent food, appetizer, main course, and dessert—just the gazelle horns could have been fresher. But I'll be back. 18/20 if I had to give it a rating.

09/12/2025: We stumbled upon this establishment by chance and discovered a luxurious and almost intimate place, with a very pleasant, chic decor. Everything was perfect, from ordering to payment. The cuisine was refined and delicious, the waiter was very friendly and full of kind words, and the convivial and pleasant atmosphere was an integral part of our experience. Thank you to the whole team, and keep up the good work—it's fantastic!
