03/09/2026: A very friendly welcome, a lovely table outside in the garden, and decent food.

26/08/2026: I regularly eat at Café de Caumont. The setting is beautiful, and the dishes are well-prepared and delicious. On August 24, 2026, we ordered the set menu of two salads of the day and two pastries. A very affable, smiling, but somewhat pushy waiter served us our two salads of the day. When it came time for the pastry (raspberry tart), he brought only one tart for two people, with two place settings. I expressed my surprise, as two pastries were ordered. "I can cut it in half; it's almost the same thing," the waiter told me. I asked him to bring what was ordered. When it came time to pay, I noticed that the two set menus were indeed listed on the bill, but an additional salad dish had also appeared. "Surprise!" I pointed this out to the same waiter, who told me there was a mistake; €23.50 more! I had to have the bill corrected and pay €23.50 less. Moral of the story: Everything is great at Café de Caumont! But be vigilant about what the waiters offer you and check your bill carefully.

11/07/2026: While in Aulney-sous-Bois for Japan Expo 2026, I needed a place to eat. Your restaurant was recommended to me. Your spaghetti bolognese is excellent. My compliments to the chef.

10/07/2026: Always a safe bet to eat at Del Arte! Once again, the food was really good for this Italian chain. The service was a little chaotic, but the young staff did a great job nonetheless 😊 Overall, it was a really good lunch spot before heading back to work.

02/09/2026: The toilets are very good; I was able to leave two rather large turds without any problems. The service is pleasant. I highly recommend it.

10/09/2026: Extremely unpleasant team; My son and I, arriving with a middle-aged couple, ie two other potential customers, were told by a grumpy landlord (how's that for an understatement?) and his peevish assistant - who'd apparently never learnt how to say "bonjour" either - that they "weren't serving drinks anymore" (and it was only 6.30 pm) and that it "was indicated" on a dwarfish "ardoise" outside, although seven or eight tables at the back of the terrace were undressed.

08/09/2026: What a lovely evening, super friendly people, beautiful ambiance, delicious dishes, beautiful paintings. We enjoyed it!! I would go back again tomorrow in a heartbeat, value for money is more than good!!!! The Netherlands could learn a thing or two from this and can't even come close!!! Many thanks

05/09/2026: We've had several positive experiences at this restaurant before. This time, however, we were disappointed. The appetizers and desserts were excellent, but the beef dish was practically inedible. It was very sinewy and the fascia was very prominent. The waitress apologized, explaining that they had changed suppliers. However, there was no gesture of goodwill when the bill arrived. Despite suggesting that coffee could have been offered, no effort was made. It's a shame; we'll have to find another restaurant for our future culinary outings.

18/09/2026: Nice atmosphere, but disappointing service experience I visited Le Rempart Bastille on the evening of September 2, 2026, during my trip to Paris and sat outside on the terrace. I ordered a crêpe with jam, which was served separately with a small spoon so I could add it myself. I liked the setting and enjoyed sitting outside, especially with the lively atmosphere around Bastille. Unfortunately, one aspect of the service negatively affected my experience. I noticed a clear difference in the way one member of staff interacted with a female customer compared with how he interacted with me. He was very friendly and smiley towards her, to the point that it came across to me as flirtatious, while he was noticeably less friendly towards me. I found this difference in treatment rather unprofessional. Regardless of the reason, I would expect customers to be treated with the same level of courtesy and friendliness. It was unfortunate because I otherwise liked the location and the experience of sitting outside. The restaurant itself made a nice impression, but the noticeably different treatment left me disappointed with the service.

17/09/2026: The food was delicious, we ordered pâté as an appetizer and salmon with wok vegetables and beef tartare for the main course.

23/08/2026: I just moved to the neighborhood and was happy to discover an ice cream shop that stays open late right near my place. The ice cream is delicious, especially with a waffle, and the staff is even better! They took the time to answer all my questions and let me taste the flavors I wasn't sure about. They were welcoming and friendly; I'd definitely go back with friends!

16/08/2026: I went there twice, and unfortunately, both times I encountered particularly rude staff. The first time, the salesperson sighed openly while I was simply taking the time to choose my flavors. The second time, the cashier rang up my order and then immediately went to her phone. I assumed another salesperson would prepare my ice cream. There were four of them in the shop, and no other customers at that moment… So I waited, before the saleswoman finally put down her phone and asked me what I wanted. What's really disappointing is that there's no smile, no friendliness, and the staff make it very clear that you're bothering them. You really get the impression that you're inconveniencing them simply by buying an ice cream. I find it truly unfortunate to receive such an unpleasant welcome. I live right next door, and honestly, despite the proximity, it makes me absolutely not want to go back. I can understand that sales can be tiring at times, but it's the middle of August, there was no rush, and there were even more staff than customers in the shop. I just came to buy an ice cream, not to feel like I was bothering anyone or being looked down on.
