31/08/2026: The atmosphere on the terrace was pleasant, but the food was of very poor quality. The escalope was completely tasteless (boiled meat??? And a cream made from who-knows-what, but definitely not cream... maybe milk), and the fish and chips were truly awful. All of this was served with reheated fries... Served in 30 seconds flat, no exaggeration. As for desserts, I saw them but didn't try them... They were mass-produced, reheated desserts right in front of you next to the till, and they didn't look very appetizing. 😬

04/10/2026: Perfect welcome, a solo chef who gives his all to serve as quickly as possible without affecting the meal, good quantity, good quality too, and a very attractive price! It's rare to pay €10 for a set menu!

10/09/2026: Excellent value for money, everything is homemade and it shows in the food. The same goes for the wine selection. Very friendly staff. Be sure to book ahead as it's a very popular spot. Highly recommended.

22/07/2026: A small brasserie reminiscent of the roadside diners of my youth. Simple, efficient, and tasty cuisine. Good value for money. Dish of the day, dessert, glass of wine, and coffee for 25 euros is very reasonable.

06/09/2026: I ordered three pizzas and the value for money is a disaster. The pizzas are expensive and absolutely inedible. I'm Sicilian, I love good pizza, and this is truly awful; even frozen pizzas are better than this. If they were €12 each, I wouldn't mind, but €63 is still a lot.

23/09/2026: Thank you to the restaurant for their response; I've updated my review accordingly. We had dinner for two in the evening, arrived without a reservation, and there was space available. The welcome and service were warm and friendly, no complaints there. Thank you again to the servers. Regarding the menus —> the images appear to be AI-generated, but this isn't the case according to the response below. We ordered pasta (carbonara and truffle), which we found just okay. Perhaps it wasn't for us, oh well. Apparently, the restaurant is quite popular; maybe we should have tried the pizzas 😋 Don't order the profiteroles. They're too expensive, and the choux pastry is frozen; choose one of the other desserts instead.

23/09/2026: We come to this restaurant very regularly and love everything about it. From the warm welcome to the quality of the food, everything is top-notch. The staff are always smiling, and we can't recall a single dish that disappointed us. Pasta, burgers, pizzas, daily specials—come and give it a try!

10/09/2026: We enjoyed a lovely meal. The beef bourginion was delicious. It was served piping hot and really hit the spot on a cold, damp night. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with some dietary restrictions too. The dining room was charming and cozy. We will definitely be back

30/08/2026: Location: Talensac Market. For half a loaf of spelt bread, which is supposed to be 500g, I paid €9.36. Outrageous! I call it a rip-off. Customer service is essential; 720g is far from 500g. This was my first visit; it's a shame there won't be another.

20/08/2026: It's hard to do better: exceptional breads and pastries, plus top-notch cuisine, setting and staff.

27/09/2026: It's such a shame to have servers who don't like their job, who are unpleasant and completely indifferent to the customers, preferring that we leave rather than seat us, even though two people behind us were seated. We won't be coming back anytime soon, and we won't be bringing anyone else.

07/06/2026: We arrived unexpectedly on a Saturday evening, June 6th, 2026, at 8 pm, with 11 people. We received a wonderfully warm welcome. The meat was perfect, the cassoulet perfect, the foie gras perfect, and the presentation of the meat before cooking was exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant.

07/06/2026: Amazing place and hosts, such lovely people. After travelling through the Pyrenees for two weeks, we finally felt like we ate proper, good French food. It was trully excellent, best meal we had all trip. We hope to come back here one day and regret staying in Aulus-les-bains instead of here. If you are planning to explore the area, I would definitely recommend this hotel as your base. Or also just for a one night stop or to eat. We also saw an otter swim as we sat at our table overlooking the river. The owners can tell you all kinds of amazing things about the region and they are happy to have a chat with you which is great if you're looking for things to do
