16/04/2026: Excellent. Simple but well-prepared and tasty dishes + very affordable prices = you have to go! Plus, it's very close to the city center. Nothing to complain about!

01/05/2026: We just had a coffee and it was of good quality. The server was smily and polite. We sat outside and the sun made it perfect. Overall a great start of the day. Coffee was small but expensive. I guess that was because of the location which is ok.

04/05/2026: The service and welcome were good. The setting is lovely. However, we were very disappointed with the matcha latte and matcha cacao latte. In fact, both drinks tasted only of milk.

29/04/2026: A small establishment at the foot of Biarritz beach. The ice creams are sumptuous and very generous, which justifies their high prices. It's difficult to finish the largest ones alone unless you have a voracious appetite. The place is perfect for enjoying a delicious ice cream or sipping a good beer while taking in the view!

06/06/2026: Back after eating at the "Soulac 1900" event. I'll only comment on what was on my plate. A huge fan of ribeye steak, I dared to order this cut at this pizza place. What a surprise! The ribeye was exceptional. A beautiful 350g piece, high quality, very lean, and with a rare smoky flavor! Honestly, don't even think about eating at the "Chien Fou" restaurant further up the seafront; the meat is nothing like this! Moreover, we hadn't made a reservation, and they were kind enough to find us a table. Quick and efficient service! Kudos to the chef for the excellent meal, and thank you to the waitresses for their friendliness.

04/07/2026: Excellent meal, simple but delicious. Fresh ingredients and homemade cooking (even the complimentary crisps as an appetizer). We needed quick service and were able to eat in 20 minutes. Efficient and friendly staff and owner. Highly recommended.

22/06/2026: This is my third visit to Bois Le Vent. I really appreciate the quality of the food. However, I've noticed on each visit that the service could be more professional, especially from the older lady and gentleman. In contrast, the younger members of the team are always pleasant and welcoming. On my last visit, I simply ordered a Mexican Almaza with salt and lemon from a young waiter. It was a fairly simple request, but it provoked a reaction where the lady started yelling at him because of my order 😅. It was quite surprising and a little awkward for me as a customer. I'm sharing this feedback because I truly enjoy your restaurant and would like the experience to live up to the quality of your cuisine.

25/06/2026: Pulled Sisteron lamb. Dauphinoise potatoes. Ratatouille. Salad with walnut oil... very tasty. Beautiful shaded terrace under a magnificent plane tree.

10/05/2026: The fries are often very good, but the service is a complete disaster! Waiting 30 minutes, sometimes even 45 minutes, for just one fry is unheard of! There's a real organizational problem here. You don't know how to prioritize orders. Just one fry? In your rotation, I think it's possible to get it out between two large orders! When ordering online, the order is only started when you arrive, which is completely unacceptable. You order, you arrive at the given time, and the order should be ready! The friendliness and welcome also need improvement. No hello, no thank you, and no goodbye—a winning combination! In a business, you have to be pleasant, especially if you want to see your customers again!

19/05/2026: A very warm and friendly place, the food is delicious, and the ravioli is a perfect accompaniment to the duck! The presence of the restaurant's dog, Hope, is a cute and endearing little extra. Thank you, and see you soon!

16/06/2026: Arriving at 12:15 pm, there were still few customers, but the restaurant's terrace quickly filled up. We were pleasantly surprised by the small green salad, which was actually a mixed salad with sprouted seeds as a garnish. Enticed by the menu photos online, I was disappointed not to find my favorite salmon tarte flambée, but I made up for it with one with Munster cheese (ordered without bacon, as it overpowers the Munster's flavor). It was generously topped. My wife chose the forestière, which was also excellent. For drinks, we ordered a 0.25-liter carafe of Gewürztraminer, which, while it paired well with the meal, lacked the typical aromas of Gewürztraminer, especially considering the high price of €10. Our dog was given a bowl of water without us even asking. I therefore recommend this place.

16/06/2026: Nice little local restaurant. We went there for a meal. Right at the beginning, we were informed that they were currently only serving tarte flambée (probably due to the time of day or the time of day). No problem. We like that kind of food. It was also delicious.

31/05/2026: I just had lunch there: grilled octopus tentacle. It was truly excellent, tender, flavorful, cooked with candied peppers and garlic powder, the fries were perfect, the service was quick and appropriate for this type of restaurant... with the glass of red wine, even the coffee was top-notch, it was a great time!

10/05/2026: Unacceptable business practices – Avoid at all costs! As regulars at this establishment, Sunday, May 10th will definitely be our last visit. My wife and I are not only disappointed, but utterly disgusted by today's experience. The value for money is nonexistent: A total bill of €87.10 for mediocre quality. The ribeye steak, ordered "medium," arrived overcooked, tough, and difficult to eat. The mixed platter featured ridiculously small portions of meat. The most outrageous thing: the rip-off with the children's menu. The menu displays a "Children's Menu" at €13.90 without any specific mention of it. However, when it came time for dessert, we were told there was a €3 surcharge under the pretext that "there is no children's menu on weekends"... while still being charged the full price of €13.90 on the bill! Paying the price of a full meal (main course + dessert) without receiving dessert, only to be told you have to pay extra, is what I call a deceptive business practice. It's a shame to lose regular customers due to such a lack of professionalism and honesty. Avoid this place.

Great location, price and ALL staff was amazing and friendly close walk to all the local attractions in Montpelier and train station, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again next year 🇫🇷👍❤️
