28/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true institution in Sainte-Maxime! ❤️ As a resident of Sainte-Maxime for many years, Café Maxime is definitely one of those must-visit spots that I love to return to year after year. I go there very regularly, especially for my own little treat: a vegan hot chocolate 😊, but also to share a moment with friends. And what I particularly appreciate is the consistency in quality and service. From one year to the next, nothing changes: the staff is always pleasant, smiling, and helpful, and you simply feel at home. The food is also excellent, with delicious dishes and very good value for money, which is becoming rare enough to be worth mentioning. It's a place that's part of the life of Sainte-Maxime, an iconic café where people love to return for a drink, lunch, a coffee, or simply to share a good time. Thank you to the whole team for your consistency, your warm welcome, and your good humor over the years. It's also thanks to establishments like Café Maxime that our town maintains this wonderful sense of community. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, both to the locals of Sainte-Maxime and to those who come to discover the town. ❤️

26/09/2026: Quick service. Server availability was fine. But they don't accept credit cards for amounts under €4.00... and then charge a 10-cent surcharge at the card machine... That's petty... What a shame...

23/08/2026: The best coffee on the French Riviera, I'd say! Excellent selection of sweets too, like cookies, muffins, etc. As pictured, the triple chocolate and Kinder cookies. The girls were so happy they came back every morning. Everything was delicious. The staff and service were very friendly. Bravo!

21/08/2026: We loved this place! Excellent food made with good, wholesome ingredients, all gluten-free, with lactose-free and vegan options. The dessert display would be the envy of anyone. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend it!

29/09/2026: The staff was rude, especially if you are a tourist. I was just asking for a table for one and the bartender did not care at all. Instead, one of the visiters helped me out. They do not give a sh*t about you if you do not speak French

22/09/2026: We had a small issue with our order: the menu only listed one pizza without cheese, and my friend had specifically chosen it because he's intolerant to cheese. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived with cheese. We reported the problem, and the team was very understanding and responsive. They explained that it was a printing error on the menu and immediately looked for a solution. Even though the error was annoying, we really appreciated their attentiveness, understanding, and how they handled the situation. It's great to deal with businesses that take feedback seriously and quickly find a solution. 😊 Thank you to the team for your understanding! The pizzas were delicious! 😋

01/08/2026: Passing through Saint Xandre, we decided to stop at this pizzeria because we were absolutely starving. I already have my go-to pizzeria in Port Neuf near the stadium (which is excellent) with the same name, so my friend wanted to try this one... well, never again. Avoid it. First, there were unusual ingredients (or ingredients not listed on the menu) on the pizza. For example, ham on a Bolognese pizza, which was supposed to be just ground beef... Second: the pizza was oozing in the box, the dough was soggy (and/or greasy??), and the crust was tasteless... in short, inedible. Third: the pizza was sticking to the cardboard, which is not normal (and I'm used to getting takeout pizzas, and even when I order from chains like Domino's or pizza boxes, the pizzas don't stick). And to top it all off, I found a huge hair IN the pizza... yum! In short, everything was perfect... for me, that's it, I won't be going back anytime soon. Really disappointed. My partner too. The only positive point is the wood-fired oven, but the dough... is just really bad... even when I make pizzas with ready-made dough from Leclerc (in the refrigerated section), the dough is much better. And the service is fast (a bit too fast...) well, now we know why. In my opinion, they should just change their dough supplier; that would make a big difference and improve hygiene, like having employees with long hair wear hairnets and gloves too. That would be a good start.

26/07/2026: A wonderful family meal: salad, charcuterie, frogs' legs, dauphinoise potatoes, cheese, and a high-quality dessert. A friendly, family atmosphere. Highly recommended.

05/07/2026: We had a wonderful time; the food was excellent and very generous, and the setting was magnificent at the foot of the castle. The meals were served in large platters meant for sharing, which created a very convivial atmosphere, like a family meal. I highly recommend it!

08/07/2026: Hello, We went for a boat trip and then had lunch at the restaurant Les Oliviers. If you're ever in Pickigny, go to this lovely little restaurant—it's so welcoming and warm. The food is excellent, delicious, and plentiful. Plus, it was the first time I'd ever eaten wheat, and I loved it! Absolutely nothing to complain about. Don't change a thing, ladies; it was a fantastic day for the four of us! 😉😊

01/07/2026: It used to be very good, but now the kebab bread is rubbery, and don't even get me started on the pizzas—they're way too salty and inedible. I'm disappointed because it used to be so good.

29/07/2026: The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The pizzas were excellent and the ice cream for dessert was very good.

09/09/2026: Disappointing experience: you have to add very expensive side dishes (rice and vegetables) to your meal, and this isn't mentioned on the menu or properly explained by the waiter, who was neither communicative nor friendly. On top of that, the food was bland and tasteless (especially the shrimp with vermicelli, which tasted like water).

01/09/2026: A delight every time I go back, I know I'm going to enjoy myself, the service is fast and the waiters are lovely.

20/09/2026: Let me explain my star rating for "atmosphere." Great restaurant with excellent couscous, very good service, and top-notch entertainment during my first visit... except that... this is the second time I've been there expecting a lively evening, and... no karaoke, no DJ. The previous time was in the summer, and I think the least they could have done was warn customers that there was no entertainment during that period. And for this Saturday, two days before, I called the number listed on Google, and the person on the phone told me that there was indeed a DJ (karaoke and dance floor). So I invited some friends over to have a good time, and... nothing! Except for the delicious couscous, which we ordered anyway because at that hour it was difficult to find another place offering the expected level of service. As I was leaving, the manager gave me the dates of the weekends that will be lively...at least I shouldn't be disappointed anymore...well, I hope so.
