01/06/2026: I only went to the restaurant. The menu, written on a chalkboard, listed the starters and main courses: pan-seared foie gras escalopes and rack of lamb with a herb crust. Everything was very good! The only downside was that the side dishes weren't listed, and when I asked about one of them (mashed potatoes with small green pieces, served with the lamb), the waitress didn't know and had to find out. Despite two reminders, we never received an answer! That's why I'm deducting stars.

29/07/2026: Le Relais de la Forêt, in Baud, opposite the town hall, is very well situated on a busy road. We received a very warm welcome, complete with a big, cheerful smile. The menu was very well explained, describing the ingredients and components of each dish. There's a fireplace for grilling, and the menus are very varied. A big thumbs up for this restaurant! 👍

23/07/2026: Great meal! They were a lifesaver at 3 pm when everything was closed. A good chat and a chilled cider later, I had a fantastic time on the terrace!

16/08/2026: I went to La Florentine about two weeks ago, and it was empty. I'm sorry for this review, but the pizzas weren't good—they had few ingredients and weren't high quality. It's a shame because the owner is nice. I don't think I'll be going back. I'm a pizza lover, and for me, the best pizzas are elsewhere...

02/07/2026: We just got back from Nantes and made a detour. We just left and weren't disappointed at all. Given the time (1:50 pm), we were welcomed with a smile. A very good restaurant that we recommend 100%. Everything is homemade.

20/06/2026: We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal. The value for money was excellent. The staff were accommodating and made some minor adjustments to our mojitos and virgin mojitos. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks: the homemade iced tea lacked peach flavor, and I felt there was no need to add lemon and mint, or at least it should be specified to avoid disappointment. The ribeye steak arrived cold, which was a shame.

11/06/2026: As a regular customer, I can attest to the efficient service. They know how to adapt to their customers; for example, if you need peace and quiet, they won't chat with you for hours. If you want to talk or have a laugh, they're there too. The customer service is excellent. Most of the time, the food is very good. On the one occasion when it wasn't quite as good, it was possible to mention it, and they found a solution. There's no need to leave a negative review like in some bistros; a simple, polite exchange is all that's needed.

10/06/2026: Peaceful and friendly place. Be careful of comments; you never know who you're dealing with. A customer is a customer.

18/09/2026: An excellent place to discover; the food is delicious. The ingredients are fresh. The staff is welcoming. I highly recommend it.

11/09/2026: A disastrous experience. For two dinner menus, we were served a ridiculously small quarter of a container of sweet sauce, as if they thought we were idiots, or worse, as if it was a deliberate attempt to save money at our expense. And the quality was no better: the sushi had a suspicious, almost nauseating odor that clearly had nothing to do with fresh, daily-made products. It was hard not to wonder how long it had been sitting in a refrigerator. The worst part was when I called to report the problem. The person on the phone was awful, curt, and completely lacking in empathy and professionalism. No apologies, no willingness to resolve anything, just pure contempt for the paying customer. You can tell this is a team that couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. I strongly advise against going there: avoid it and go somewhere else; your money and your health deserve better.

24/09/2026: Comfortable place but very poorly managed, everything looks dirty. It's difficult to eat with all the fruit flies buzzing around the food. I found a huge green thing in the flesh of my cod that smelled very strong (it's all twisted up in the photo, but it was enormous). I felt nauseous all day. A waiter came back and told me it was cauliflower, but no, I clearly pulled it out of the fish with my fork. After that, no one came to apologize. What about the manager's job? The waitress was cleaning; she spent a good amount of time afterward, apologized, and offered me tea. Thank you to her. I was sitting down to work, and later I ordered a profiterole which was very good, hence the two stars I gave it; otherwise, I would have only given one. I won't be back. The atmosphere is strange, the service is slow and unfriendly, and I'm still disgusted by what I found on my plate.
