Super fun, great atmosphere, very pleasant staff, the music quiz and the DJ were fantastic, the customers were very friendly and sociable – a truly enjoyable break. I highly recommend it. Affordable price.

17/08/2026: I've been a regular at this bakery for several months now, and it's always a pleasure. The service is friendly and very professional; everything is perfect! The bread, pastries, and cakes are beautifully crafted, the textures and baking are perfect, and the well-balanced sweetness ensures the desserts are never cloying. I wholeheartedly recommend this artisan baker, a rare find these days.

14/08/2026: Very clean bakery and pastry shop. Young people who deserve to succeed because everything is homemade! It's so important to eat good products made by their own hands. Knowing that nothing comes from the freezer, that they got up very early to make us magnificent pastries and delicious bread, that they took the time to awaken our taste buds! So go there! 13/09/2026: 26.50 for a piece of uninteresting parsley ham, very poor presentation, the fillet wasn't tender and wasn't cooked properly, and cheese or dessert 26.50 is way too expensive, a rip-off!

10/09/2026: A very good restaurant that we discovered almost 10 years ago. Passing through in our campervan this year, I recognized it and we were really looking forward to having their monkfish cassoulet again, which was absolutely divine. Unfortunately, it's now only available by pre-order, something we hadn't done. Nevertheless, the sea bass dish on offer was excellent, as were the ribeye steak and the side dishes. Just a small ice cream for dessert to ease our conscience... Well done! The Vendée team.

14/10/2026: Good value for money, a nice menu offering many dishes and specialties, set menus to suit all tastes, and reasonable prices. The buffet is small but has the essentials. The restaurant has a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere, and the service is quick and efficient.

09/10/2026: My favorite restaurant in Compiègne! If you love Asian food and all-you-can-eat buffets, this is the place to be. I never leave reviews online, but I just had to give them a shout-out because their food is so good: I'm a huge fan (almost addicted!). A delicious, homemade buffet and a warm welcome. And the value for money is unbeatable (€13.90 at lunchtime and €17.80 in the evenings, on weekends, and on public holidays). The buffet is much cheaper than other all-you-can-eat restaurants (admittedly, the buffet is smaller, but more than enough!). I highly recommend you try Foulou!

14/10/2026: The waitress and waiter were particularly pleasant, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, and you immediately sense the soul of a neighborhood establishment. The food is comforting and fairly decent, although not very adventurous and served in far too small portions. Unfortunately, it's when you interact with the man who appears to be the owner that the experience deteriorates significantly. Several reviews had already mentioned this: "If you don't drink wine, keep walking." We felt less like customers and more like a statistical anomaly in the wine cellar's sales figures. The remarks were unpleasant, sometimes contemptuous, and above all, completely inappropriate for a simple and friendly lunch with colleagues before returning to work. The persona the owner seems to have created quickly overshadows the food itself. It's regrettable, because behind the well-rehearsed phrases and carefully maintained repartee, one ultimately perceives more condescension than genuine hospitality. To be perfectly honest, we were young professionals who came with curiosity and enthusiasm, eager to discover what lay behind this attractive storefront. Far from being a flaw, youth at least has the advantage of maintaining a certain enthusiasm and openness to discovery. It just goes to show that beautiful facades can sometimes conceal disappointments. I also recall reading a response from the owner in a previous review, explaining, in essence, that the quality of a business is judged by the person who runs it. On this point, I can only agree. Now it's up to each individual to draw their own conclusions.

14/10/2026: Misogynistic owner. We didn't order any wine, and he started making derogatory remarks about my colleagues and me. Terrible staff, I do not recommend it.

04/10/2026: Very good restaurant, but the service between courses was very slow. Only go if you really have the time; we had to ask several times for our food, otherwise we could have waited even longer. We also had to ask for drinks, otherwise no one would take our order.

30/08/2026: The meal was very good 👍, but the service from the young staff needs improvement. There was no bread with the starter; we had to ask for it. There were no water glasses, so we had to drink both water and wine in the same glass. We also had to wait a long time. We never received the menu for our dessert, which was part of our set menu; we had to ask for it! It's a shame because otherwise it was very good.

19/10/2026: For the past four years, we've been coming to Barbotan for our spa treatments... Every morning, we have coffee there with a couple of friends. The manager is always smiling and helpful. We eat there two or three times during our stay... For a very reasonable price (€17-18), they serve delicious food with a glass of good wine... kudos to the whole team at La Tartinette... thank you for the fromage blanc, Armagnac, and prunes... a delight! We'll be back...

10/09/2026: We've been coming for years! We always have a fantastic time! From the raclette to the fondue, everything is delicious. The staff is also incredibly friendly. You can go there without hesitation.

23/10/2026: I waited almost 20 minutes for a simple Long Bacon… It's completely ridiculous. The worst part is that there was absolutely no attempt at customer service from the staff. The manager clearly asked the team members to do something, but they did nothing. Zero effort, zero consideration. I'm really angry; it's unacceptable for a Quick. We're talking about a sandwich, not a gourmet meal. Next time, I'll go somewhere else.
