18/10/2026: The sushi is high quality, and the service is truly excellent. I recommend the chirashi with tonic water and the gyoza. We also appreciated the little R&B playlists from the 2000s, very nice 😊

30/10/2026: Honestly, the food is bad. Those who want to go there just for the tablets shouldn't bother, and the menu is quite repetitive. Not to mention the pressure from the waiters who clear your table before you've even finished. There are better all-you-can-eat buffets in the 95th district. (Extremely noisy too.)

10/10/2026: I've always enjoyed this restaurant; I had my first beef and cheese skewers there. But today they were bland, with an unusually strong grilled/burnt taste. I was disappointed 😞 and left feeling hungry. P.S.: The new decor is very nice.

17/10/2026: You can tell there's been a change in franchisees (or maybe some major internal changes!!). The quality of the products is better (especially the drinks!), the staff are pleasant, and the renovation has given it a positive boost!

26/08/2026: We usually shop at this store where it's located and have never had any problems before. But this time everything was different. We were pressured into buying something that wasn't part of the basic package, and the other saleswoman was incredibly rude to our 4-year-old daughter. It's a shame that these saleswomen have tarnished our previous impression; we won't be going back. Perhaps a change of staff should be considered. 😡

07/10/2026: Through to through a good French restaurant. It’s placed on a street between a ton of different restaurants, so the atmosphere over there is pretty good. The duck I ordered, was one of the best ones I ever had, so that’s a recommendation. One negative point was the seating situation. It was really close to others (normal in Paris), but they were smoking the whole time and as non-smokers it wasn’t so nice :(

15/10/2025: Very good, fresh produce, quiet last Friday (October 10th), ideal before a theatre performance for us.

11/10/2026: The service was impeccable, the waiters were great, but unfortunately the food wasn't at all. I wish the menu had specified that the "roasted Camembert" was half a Camembert. €10 for half is quite expensive. As for the Caesar salad (just look at the picture...)... The rump steak was like chewing gum... (but the sauce was good). There were hardly any customers; we had to wait over 20 minutes just for the starter (Camembert)... I don't think I'll be back.

27/09/2026: The food was okay, nothing really special or “wow,” but the service was great. The staff were very nice and friendly.

02/12/2025: What can I say? The food was reasonably good, the service pleasant, the waiter was friendly despite his lack of formal training, and the dining room was empty while the other restaurants on the square were full. The value for money was definitely lacking. Two things really disappointed us. First, I asked the waiter what vegetables were in my dish, and he couldn't tell me. When we came back, we learned that the chef had gone home, and the waiter explained that the kitchen assistant was running the show. Second, we were refused an upgrade to a higher-priced menu because, and I quote, the waiter said, "I ask at the beginning because I don't know how to upgrade the menu when the bill arrives." So we ended up paying full price for a starter/main course plus dessert, even though a three-course menu (starter/main/dessert) was available. This is the first time this has ever happened to us.

31/08/2026: The set menu, apart from the dessert, is quite decent. Avoid the "café gourmand": expensive, poorly presented, tasteless, or simply a failure (dry brownie, various unidentifiable mousses). Despite the smiles, the service remains chaotic.

30/09/2026: The staff were friendly and excellent, and the service was impeccable. The dishes were beautifully prepared, from the meat jus and octopus to the buttery mashed potatoes and the wines. We went back three times... I highly recommend it... I can't wait to return to St Jean de Luz.

25/09/2026: Highly recommended and deserved it. Seating in the immaculate dining room but near the open air terrace. Friendly welcome, impeccable professional service from English ( and probably other language ) proficient, well knowledgeable waitstaff. The freshest oysters, superbly presented whole baked merlu, scrumptious apple pie, a complete wine list offering an array of local and national ( which means French/Italian/Spanish ) vintages. And a sweet bill, so you don’t have to call your loan officer in New York.
