30/07/2026: Slow service, bad taste, high price; after customers pointed out the problems, not only did they not make changes, but they also argued with the customers.

29/07/2026: I only ordered two things: a bowl of fried dumplings and a bowl of beef rice noodles. I waited almost an hour. It was expensive and awful. The rice noodles had a lethal amount of salt… I ate a few bites and quickly left.

04/07/2026: A very warm welcome. The homemade hot chocolate, which is always excellent, becomes a chilled hot chocolate (with a scoop of ice cream) in the summer. I highly recommend it to lovers of real chocolate!

10/07/2026: We had lunch at Bistrot Normand. Overall, the meal was pleasant and the service was adequate. However, the service seemed a bit slow. After the main course, we waited about 20 minutes before the rest of the meal arrived. I ordered a Welsh Royal, but I was disappointed with its preparation. The cheese wasn't properly melted and had a lot of lumps inside, which detracted from the quality of the dish. I mentioned this to the manager, who told me it was due to the cheese. He seemed to be already aware of this issue. Despite these negative points, the experience was still generally satisfactory, although improvements would be appreciated regarding the speed of service and the quality of the Welsh Royal.

23/06/2026: We were very disappointed today. We were presented with two burnt pizzas and a curdled "I hope that's alright with you." Back to the kitchen. On the second try, one was burnt again, back to the kitchen (why didn't they check it first?). On the third try, barely cooked, we gave up. Finally, at the till: "Everything went well, ladies and gentlemen?" We could have expected even a small gesture of goodwill. This isn't the first time we've been disappointed. We won't be coming back, which is a shame.

19/06/2026: For a chain restaurant, the quality is really good and the prices are affordable. The only downsides were that one of the placemats was dirty and the restrooms were too. But I think I'll come back :)

07/05/2026: Unfortunately, there's no such thing as zero stars for customer service. This is the second time I've gone to pick up a Too Good To Go basket and encountered the same problem. The person at the counter refused to give me the basket because of a mistake made by her manager, who had entered the wrong time slot on the app. She simply told me it wasn't her fault and didn't seem concerned at all. On top of that, she spoke loudly and in a terrible, unprofessional manner. I've wasted about 30 minutes each time because of this issue. Despite the quality of their products, I will never return.

02/05/2026: We were devoted customers of La Florentine for 20 years until the owner's retirement this summer. We wanted to try the new version with the change of ownership. New decor. Brand new tables, chairs, and lighting. So far, so good. New menu. And what a disappointment! Very little choice. Prices have skyrocketed and are worthy of the French Riviera. €19.50 for the salmon galette. The same for the scallop one. Gone are the Mots Bleus, which we loved. The cider has doubled in price... We order what's left within our budget. Upon arrival, another disappointment. The galette arrives at the same time as the cider and peanuts. So much for an aperitif. The corners of the galette are dry and cold. The galette is stuck to the plate. Only the center remains soft and slightly warm. The clearly visible, pre-packaged slice of ham isn't very appealing either. We have music playing in our ears. We can't hear each other anymore. We move on to dessert. Opening the menu, the prices of the crêpes stop us in our tracks once again. We order ice cream, which is cheaper. The tables have turned. Cruel disappointment. We've lost our favorite, and so friendly, crêperie. May 2026 update: We knew that at these prices, it couldn't last in St. Gilles. The result this month: a change of name and transformation into a brasserie. What a waste! The loss of such a good crêperie and therefore a part of our culture.

29/04/2026: It's slow, it's cold, the waiter should know how to take criticism and not roll his eyes. There are hardly any crêpes or galettes left... for a crêperie, that's a shame! The change of ownership is painful for the regulars.

26/05/2026: I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Poreaux au vinaigre was outstanding. The Magret de canard succulent. I love leeks. This was my first experience with this particular Alsacian dish. I don't know how they get the leeks that delectable texture, perhaps first steamed and then lightly roasted? So much sweet oniony flavor! And the crunch from the crispy crumbled croutons and roasted nuts in a mustard vinaigrette ties it all together with beautiful, complementary flavors and textures. The flavor and texture of the rare duck breast was superb. Excellent quality duck and a healthy portion. I was less sold on the herb sauce, but perhaps that's just my taste. The pate en croute was delicious on the inside but the pastry was soft, with no flakiness or crispness as it should be. Service was very good and friendly, and English-speaking. I was surprised they were so many tourists at this restaurant given its off-center location. But it's Paris and tourists (like me) are everywhere!

19/05/2026: A bistro that makes good homemade food. Warm welcome, fast service. The servers are friendly. It's inexpensive. I'd definitely go back. Very nice outdoor terrace for the summer.

01/08/2026: This was our first time at this sushi bar, which had been highly recommended. We stayed for two hours and only received one order and a very small portion of the second. After two hours, the waitress told us they had served another table with our orders and that we wouldn't be receiving the rest. We had to wait even longer for them to reprepare our orders and take them away because we had to leave for work. It's a shame because, for an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant, the food is actually quite good.

28/07/2026: The waitress was nice, but the service was incredibly slow, and on top of that, we only got rice balls, a 1cm piece of salmon, and a single triangle of crunchy avocado... even the edamame were only 6 tiny tiles 😒 For €15.90, a proper tray of sushi is much better value; this wasn't great. Plus, the service was incredibly slow, and they didn't even get all the orders.
