06/09/2026: We came to eat at Bistrot du Centre on Friday, September 4th, and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely shaded terrace at the back of the restaurant. As for the meal, it was generous and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful. Well done to the new chef! And a warm welcome. My 96-year-old mother also enjoyed it. 08/09/2026: Passing through Rouen and having read the positive reviews about this restaurant, we went there on Friday, September 4th, for lunch. The welcome was indeed friendly, but then...: the starters were served 10 minutes apart (the pâté terrine, moreover, was far too dry and had to be unmolded... hence the delay!!!). There was a mistake with the main course: meat instead of fish, then a mistake with the side dish: the green beans were missing. My wife tasted her plate and discovered it wasn't fish, so her plate was replaced, but... it was immediately eaten by a member of staff at the table next to ours (nothing goes to waste). As for me, the breaded chicken escalope was far too dry, and the spaghetti was served lukewarm. Often in these cases of negative feedback, when the restaurant owner responds, he criticizes the customer for not having made their comments on the spot. Once again, while stopping in I was in Rouen for a weekend, and I didn't want to cause any trouble. Admittedly, this missed meal (to say the least) was just an isolated incident in the service at this establishment. Too bad... it just happened to be us!

17/06/2026: Wow, great value for money! The Normandy burger with Camembert and apples is absolutely amazing! 😀 Their steak is high-quality meat. The service is friendly and welcoming.

10/10/2026: The food was decent, but I was very disappointed with the owner who came to our table with a tray of pastries and told us, "Help yourselves, take what you want." There were no prices displayed on the pastries, and the result at the till was €4 each. Unacceptable practice.

31/03/2026: A very warm welcome and a very pleasant and kind owner. The couscous I ate was undoubtedly the best I've ever had. Moreover, the portions were generous and everything was homemade, much to our delight. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious Moroccan food in a beautiful restaurant with attentive staff.

11/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! I highly recommend this place where the food is truly excellent. The tagines are delicious and generous, as are the appetizers and desserts. The atmosphere is warm and friendly; you immediately feel right at home. Khadija and Maha are very welcoming and friendly!

04/09/2026: I must admit I'm disappointed... I only went once... many of the vegetables were old and wilted. The shelves were half empty. Perhaps it wasn't the right day... but it certainly didn't make me want to go back. Very disappointed...
