25/08/2026: Coming from Reims, we stopped at the Mercure in Bordeaux Lac, not far from the Cottage du Lac restaurant. An excellent experience, a very good restaurant with delicious and refined cuisine, using quality ingredients. The dishes were well-prepared, the service pleasant, and the staff competent and friendly. We had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this restaurant. Jocelyne and Bruno Colaone

21/08/2026: Meh. A chanterelle purée with the meat was odd. There were four of us... the ice cream was changed in the dessert without us even asking... not at all what we expected, we won't be back.

26/08/2026: All that glitters is not gold! I was quite disappointed by my experience, especially since I'd heard good things about this restaurant. The decor and furnishings were beautiful, but unfortunately, we waited over an hour for our food (during our lunch break), without any explanation or even bread to tide us over (unless we asked for it). The dishes themselves were rather simple and the portions were VERY small (perhaps my hunger was amplified by the wait...). In short, the lunch menu and service need improvement!

03/09/2026: This was our second stay at this lovely hotel. We were once again warmly welcomed, the room was charming and spotlessly clean, with a lake view and a small terrace. The breakfast buffet was superb, and we will definitely return.

09/08/2026: The building itself is a stunning landscape and courtyard. In summer, it offers both respite from the heat and immersion in art. It features numerous sculptures by Spanish and Swiss artists. The restaurant's pine trees and the entire brick building make every corner of the Mediterranean scenery a picturesque scene.

08/08/2026: Very beautiful works, but accessibility is completely lacking. Several rooms were not visited because access was impossible due to stairs and lack of assistance from the staff. The Miro labyrinth is also completely inaccessible. A real shame for this gem, which contains very interesting and beautiful works. It's worth a visit, but the staff could use a rethink, and the foundation needs to be restructured to make all rooms accessible, not just a few.
