28/04/2026: The best pastry shop in the canton and beyond! As a regular, I'm a huge fan of their chocolates, macarons, financiers, and Black Forest cakes... basically everything 😅. The cozy little lounge offers a relaxing tasting experience at the foot of the castle 🏰. A must-visit in Langeais.

11/12/2025: Extremely disappointed. I went to buy a Savoyard pizza. Honestly, I don't understand how anyone can give these pizzas good reviews. There was only dough, almost no topping, a bit of ham here and there, and as for cheese, forget about it. It had absolutely nothing to do with the name "Savoyard" at €13 a pizza. They're even better at Leclerc. This is the last time I'll go there; it was awful.

05/06/2026: This is the best Indian restaurant in Paris, the biryanis are excellent, the spinach in sauce is delicious, we can't wait for the restaurant to reopen ;-)

08/03/2026: I stopped by this evening to order a cheese naan to take away. I also asked for the green sauce. The naan was delicious and full of cheese, and came with a generous pot of sauce. Very satisfied, I'll be back! 😗

21/12/2025: Finally! A real restaurant in Luchon: Hôtel d’Etigny. Review of a meal eaten in August, as the hotel is closed in winter. A very pleasant surprise. Impeccable service. Quality menus and dishes, a welcome change from the other restaurants in town, which too often resemble fast food. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

23/05/2026: A pastry shop I've known for a long time. Their little egg tarts are very good but sell out quickly. The pastries are decent, although I think the quality has declined a bit. The matcha tart was good. However, the chocolate pineapple entremet was a little too sweet for my taste.

06/04/2026: I bought a slice of chiffon cake for €3, but I was disappointed. The portion was small, and it didn't seem to be good value for money. The presentation wasn't very elegant, and the cake looked like it hadn't been fresh the day before. The texture and freshness didn't live up to my expectations. I don't know if the owner has changed or if there's been a change in management, but the slices used to be square and much more generous. The difference is really noticeable. It's a shame, because the place had made a better impression on me before. I hope the quality and freshness will return to what they were.

30/05/2026: Hello, we just finished our family meal and were very disappointed with the way the owners treated us. Friendliness, customer service, and a professional approach are essential values ​​for a restaurant owner. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the staff's service was very mediocre. I wouldn't recommend this place for a festive occasion.

10/07/2026: It's always a real pleasure to eat a good pizza at "Luizi's." The pizza dough is excellent and soft—a real treat! Friendly service. I highly recommend it.

05/07/2026: Nothing's going right tonight. The pizza of the moment has mint, we wonder why 🤔 The Reine pizza has no mushrooms because it was delivered by Bambino. And the chicken pizza was delivered with sausages and potatoes... You call, they blame you... Mistakes happen, but admit your mistake. More and more disappointing...

16/03/2026: An excellent meal, plenty of à la carte options, and very reasonably priced menus. A real restaurant, not a large buffet like you see more and more these days. If I may make a suggestion, some Asian background music to set the mood would be greatly appreciated.

13/07/2026: In my opinion, La Maison D'Hoursetut took advantage of the fact it was our first time to come for the Tour de France stage on the iconic Col du Tourmalet. Short version: They advised us of the wrong time to arrive by car before the road closures, so we couldn't go up the mountain to see the stage there and they wouldn't give us a refund (no cancellations policy). Long version: Months in advance, we confirmed a few times with the hotel via email that our arrival time would be noon (specifically based on their advice), however, the very first police officer we drove up to said the road is closed. This is at 11:30. When I contacted the hotel they said they gave us the info they had at the time and that the gendarmerie moved up the time last minute. I've watched the Tour on TV go thru this route several times over the years and all of it is planned months in advance, so I didn't believe him and my instinct was confirmed the next day when I found an official printed flier from the stage that said the roads close at 10 for the Caravan. Each stage location has its own website with road closure info and for the life of me I couldn't find one for this stage from San Francisco, which is why I asked the hotel - because they should be experts on guests arriving for the Tour. I'm not going to make you re-live the long exchange of emails back and forth between me and the hotel, but I hope anyone who is considering them for the Tour either STAYS AWAY, or else does not count on them for anything. I believe they knew what they were doing with my reservation misdirection and I absolutely believe they kept our money and then sold our room again to one of the thousands of people on the mountain. Unethical.
