04/08/2026: So service is not good, I asked for a meat less plate but I was served with meat mixed with chicken. Apart from that if you are a meat lover you should try this place.

18/07/2026: I tried it today. I came intending to order the pepper soup with fish and fried yam. But there was no fried yam, and the pepper soup was made with tilapia, not catfish. So I wanted to order fried rice, but I was told they didn't have that either. Since I arrived at 12:40 PM, I don't understand why dishes listed on the menu were missing, hence the 4 stars. I ended up ordering the mutton pepper soup with pounded yam (€25). Where I'm from, pepper soup isn't really eaten with pounded yam, but it was just as good. The soup wasn't 100% authentic, but I understand because the spices are hard to find in France. The chili level was reasonable for the season; it was delicious, and the pieces of meat were very tender. The music was perfect, and the service was quite fast (15 minutes) and very friendly. I recommend it and I'll be back!

06/02/2026: Listen, I hate coffee (well, that's what I used to say until I was 23/25, I didn't like coffee ☕️) Actually, that's not true. It's just that the first impression we were given, which is the most important, wasn't good. A lot of people drink coffee at home. Wrong! Honestly, coffee at a café isn't comparable to coffee at home (even if you have a top-of-the-line or professional machine at home). Neither Nespresso, which makes some of the best coffee, nor Sega Fredo (one of the best for home use), is comparable to coffee at a café/bar/tobacconist. And then there are some coffees that I find "strong." Or Should I say STRONG? Well, this one from Brasserie 42 St. Denis is really great 😋 I had two, absolutely fantastic. Okay, thank you very much. There are even some Parisian coffees that I find too strong, and many cafes make them too strong. This one was perfect, delicious, especially for someone who used to hate coffee. To truly appreciate coffee, you need to: 1) drink it in a cafe 2) in a glass because, yes, it doesn't taste the same in a cup (yes, I'm serious, I learned that in 2025, I had already learned to appreciate coffee in the meantime) 3) in a good cafe like this one Thank you

10/05/2026: Excellent spot in Suresnes! Ali and Oumnia are incredibly welcoming; you immediately feel at home. Warm atmosphere, good music, and fast service. The ingredients are fresh, the food is delicious, and the dishes are always high quality. Perfect for spending quality time with friends or family, whether for a coffee, a cocktail, or a meal! Highly recommended!

06/05/2026: I live on the same street as this bar, and the management is terrible: the owners let people shout outside, often drunk, until late at night. No respect for the neighbors.

21/07/2026: I’m so grateful that I found this place I would highly recommend. The food is yummy and in the evenings 50% off. The shop was also open late with free WiFi. The staff were really kind and you can eat in. I would definitely go back !!

01/04/2026: Hello, this is a very good little restaurant where you can eat well all you want for €12. There's nothing to complain about. Of course, you're not served like in a 5-star restaurant, but the price isn't the same. You have to know what you want. I eat there every time I go down to Brive and I've never been disappointed.

14/05/2026: I can only judge the tobacco; I couldn't look around and they didn't have my Fleur du Pays 1937, so I had to settle for another one. I didn't know what to get, so I bought some Interval, which was "expired"—not expired, but completely dried out. I had to rehydrate it. Anyway, I was disappointed. 🥺

12/07/2026: Honestly, I'm very disappointed. The cakes have nothing to do with Algerian pastries, especially the kalb louz 🤦‍♀️ If you're looking for the true taste of Algerian cakes, look elsewhere. I sincerely hope you improve the taste and quality to offer pastries that are more like those found in Algeria.

17/06/2026: Excellent pastries, delicious and very fresh. The welcome is outstanding, with great kindness and generosity. The little girl even gave me a small pastry, a very thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend this place!
