06/09/2026: I'm changing my initial 5-star rating and review because I just saw a cashier serve a slice of pizza with her bare hands and without gloves. She cut a strand of cheese with her fingers before putting it back on top of the slice.

04/09/2026: Passing by late in the day, close to closing time, I was offered a large chorizo ​​pizza even though the pizza shelf was empty... I was surprised and delighted that they offered me this service so late to make my day! Arthur quickly and professionally made an excellent chorizo ​​pizza, cooked to perfection! It was delicious, thank you to him and the whole team there on Friday, September 4th! Thank you, I saved my happy hour! 😉🥂🍕

20/06/2026: We ordered an iced tea and an Oasis, and we DARED to ask for two extra glasses of water. The response was, "We're here to work." By insisting, we finally managed to get a tiny canteen-sized glass of water. It's the middle of a heatwave. It's 38°C. We're talking about tap water. What does that cost you? Providing water to people is a legal obligation. You're being incompetent.

19/09/2026: The service was a disaster. I was refused a table on the terrace in the middle of summer because I was wearing shorts… For a café in Lyon, that's incomprehensible! And when the owner, Olivier Farissier, replied, "Well, buy some clothes and come back and sit down," it was frankly contemptuous. An establishment can have its rules, but that doesn't excuse them from speaking properly to their customers. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality or business etiquette in this exchange. An unacceptable experience that makes me have absolutely no desire to return.

03/08/2026: A disappointing experience. The staff were unfriendly and the organization was poor. It was difficult to know where the queue started, which created confusion. Furthermore, the menus were poorly displayed, making it difficult to choose what to order. Better organization, clearer signage, and a warmer welcome would have been appreciated.

21/07/2026: The mussels marinière were okay, but not a generous portion for nearly €18. The piece of meat was good, but the Roquefort sauce was runny and not enough. A glass of Sancerre cost €6.90 and was NOT good at all! In short, two dishes, a beer, a Coke, and a wine came to €56.90 because of an error on the bill—an extra drink not ordered. Not bad, but overpriced. That's probably the place; we won't go back. The service was friendly, and the waiter was nice.

12/07/2026: We had an amazing experience at Le Bouchon Tourangeau in Tours. Before coming, we saw some negative Google reviews, but our experience was completely different — this place was wonderful! The atmosphere truly brought us back to the spirit of a classical bouchon-style restaurant: warm, authentic, and full of character. The menu offers great choices of entrée, plat, and dessert, with traditional flavors done very well. We started with the escargots, which were served hot, beautifully fragrant, and absolutely delicious. The beef bourguignon was the highlight — the beef was incredibly tender, and the sauce was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The steak with frites was also excellent. We enjoyed a nice selection of wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were kind and attentive. They may not be the most expressive with smiles, but their service was efficient and thoughtful — we never had to wait, and every staff member made sure we were well taken care of. A great place to enjoy authentic bouchon-style cuisine in Tours. We highly recommend Le Bouchon Tourangeau and would happily come back again!

23/05/2026: The service was excellent, and there's nothing to complain about; the welcome I received on each of my visits was pleasant, even as recently as May 22, 2026. Regarding the rooms, I can't give my opinion since I've never actually stayed there overnight.

19/09/2026: It would be good to update the opening hours; it's not open at 7am on Saturday and that wasted my time.

30/08/2026: Everything is very good, special mention for the chocolate croissant, the quiches (lots of vegetarian options, which is great) and the baguette of course! My only slight complaint is the disdain I felt from the saleswoman when I asked (without really thinking) for a pain au chocolat one morning :( I'm from the south, I could have made the effort, but you can also avoid acting like you don't understand what I'm asking for :) Looking forward to coming back

20/09/2026: On Sundays there is live music and you can dance while enjoying a delicious meal and a good drink; definitely recommended if you are in the area.

31/08/2026: Tacos are perfect for emptying your stomach; everything came out almost untouched. Pray you can hear your friends, because the TV volume is probably set so the whole town can hear it.
