06/09/2026: Between the hotel and the refuge, on the road to the Col d'Izoard: good bedding and a comfortable room, the plumbing was a bit noisy but nothing too problematic; overnight stays are available with dinner and breakfast, perfect for travelers on the go; bike storage and a nice common lounge. I would gladly return.

01/09/2026: Corner restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating, fast service, and reasonably priced food. We were there for the second time today, and the Flammkuchen La Découverte was excellent. The first time, we had the mixed platter with fries. A large portion, enough for two, and also very tasty.

01/09/2026: A fantastic hotel with a small swimming pool. Very clean, great spacious rooms with a kitchen and everything you could need. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to leave the car in the parking lot all day, even though it was our departure day. I'm absolutely thrilled and will definitely be back next year.

18/09/2026: I could have given it 0 stars, I would have! Ordered delivery. We waited an hour in Vinc, only to receive an email canceling the order because the store closed early, even though they accepted our order an hour earlier. Appalling!!! They could have at least made the pizzas and delivered them earlier than expected, but not done what they did. Unreliable restaurant! I will never order from them again.

20/09/2026: Excellent homemade waffles! I recommend the salted caramel waffle with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream.

08/09/2026: A complete disaster! Probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten. The dough was raw in some places and completely burnt in others. A pizza this badly prepared is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against going to this place. An extremely disappointing experience. Absolutely avoid it!

01/09/2026: The place is beautiful near the beach and here we were served by a very kind old lady but the food is very bad we ordered penne arabiata and some cooked pasta came with a little sauce on top of tomatoes but very old with acidity and a lot of parsley and the very old one with 2 pizzas and a focaccia the same tomato sauce all over very old and acidic you couldn't eat just taste so better not the price is quite spicy for an inedible food the service was ok we were constantly served cold water it's a good place to drink a coffee or something to cool off

31/08/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome! The food is delicious and, in my opinion, worthy of a semi-gastronomic experience. The service is professional, and the owner is incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend it! If you're lucky, try the ceviche of the day!

20/04/2026: Since the butcher's cut was flank steak, I ordered a Mont Blanc tartare. Disappointment! There was just a tiny bit of ham on top (see photo). I also ordered a mille-feuille 🤐 Disappointed compared to last year. I no longer eat at Grands Montets; I plan half-day trips and eat in Chamonix. I lose a bit of time, but I prefer it. €45 for a bad meal. The owner's explanation: it's the end of the season 😡

23/08/2026: The takeaway section was open, but unfortunately not the restaurant itself. There's a very wide selection of ice cream 🍦. The ice creams and sorbets are truly excellent—what a great find!

The price is perfectly in line with the quality offered. A big plus also for the welcome and the staff, who were very pleasant, smiling, and friendly. It's truly a pleasure to be received like that! A wonderful discovery, we will definitely be back! 😋🍨 I recommend it 100%!
