25/07/2026: Excellent find. It doesn't look like much, but it's delicious: the Italian salad, the pizzas, or the lasagna. Impeccable welcome and service. A few tables inside and a lovely terrace. Authentic tiramisu.

05/09/2026: 1/9/26 Ordered the beef stroganoff. I still miss the way the previous chef made his beef stroganoff. Shredded beef with a rich brown sauce, very tasty. Please, your beef stroganoff is good, but try to bring back the old recipe. There will be about 50 of us thanking you. The vegetables and homemade mashed potatoes were also good, the recipe unchanged (very good). Thank you. 6/6/25 Photo only the last one from 6/6/25 One star less We went back for my wife's birthday. Loyal to the beef stroganoff, I ordered the same dish again. But to my surprise, the meat was good, but the sauce that gave it such a great flavor was gone! It was covered with a white sauce, which was good, but nothing like the old one that gave this dish its delicious taste. Too bad. We compared photos taken of the dishes a while ago with today's. And we can clearly see that the color of the sauce on the beef stroganoff is no longer the same. The current one is much lighter and whiter. Excellent service. I used to come here all the time for my beef stroganoff. Excellent welcome. Very good dish, I had the beef stroganoff with homemade mashed potatoes. 2/11/24 We're back. We'll return with the family. The beef stroganoff is still just as good. The dessert was the same. A must-try if you're in the area.

04/09/2026: It was an excellent experience. The person who served us, I believe the owner, treated us very well even though he doesn't speak French and only speaks a little English. He made himself easily understood, and we ate delicious food and drank very good beer 🍺. It was our first time trying Tibetan food, and we fell in love with it. Thank you for your excellent service and exquisite flavor.

01/09/2026: A farm inn practically on my doorstep, and I didn't even know about it! But it's definitely worth the trip: a beautiful setting, quality products, and above all, a really friendly team and owner. If you haven't heard of it, you really don't need to go far to find a farm inn with excellent, homemade food. I highly recommend it. You definitely won't be disappointed.

23/10/2026: A small comment of dissatisfaction: we've dined at many of Metz's restaurants in France, including Lille, Lyon, Reims, and Toulon, and we've always been completely satisfied and delighted. But this one, I'm sorry to say, is a bit of a letdown for the brand. The appetizers had no flavor whatsoever. The charcuterie was practically past its expiration date, pre-cut, I think. The fries were cold, barely reheated, and as for the meat, we ordered five ribs. We usually dine as a family, and I like well-marbled meat, but this time I was looking for lean. The only thing that was truly excellent was the wine cellar. It's a shame, as this meal was meant to be an introduction for some family members who weren't familiar with the restaurant. I hope to avoid them at future Metz restaurants so they can appreciate it, because until now I've always been satisfied, but this one casts a shadow on the brand.

22/10/2026: We ordered the "bon vivants" menu (€50 per person). The waitress explained that the chef chooses the meat, and we get to choose the starters and desserts. This turned out to be false; the kitchen decides everything. We received three starters for a party of four: deviled eggs with truffles, which were okay but nothing special; snails with parsley and garlic, which were bland; and the Munster cheese, which was fine. Then came the meat platter. The beef was okay, but nothing special—my butcher has better meat. The pork was cooked at a low temperature, admittedly, but far too fatty; the duck fillet was nothing special; the ratatouille was very good, but the mushrooms were bland. In short, there was plenty of food, but the quality wasn't there. On the other hand, they had a lovely wine cellar. We ordered Vicus, a local wine, which was very good.

11/10/2026: I had a wonderful evening at the Belcour. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the view from the stage was great. The dancers are truly professional and incredibly talented. They were very elegant and their costumes were magnificent. The only slight drawback was that the meal could have been a bit more substantial, and perhaps some acrobatics, contortion, or aerial performances would have been a nice addition.

10/10/2026: The best restaurant of my life. From the welcome and service to the quality of the food, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the wine pairing, everything was perfect. Be prepared for a bit of a budget (appetizer, main course, dessert, wine pairing: over €140 for two people). However, go without hesitation; it's truly worth it. Thank you to their entire team.

All in all delicious food, lovely service, great restaurant. Thank you for the amazing night❤️.

Each course was a surprising delight, with creative combinations of flavors, but I must single out the profiteroles, which were astonishing!

01/08/2026: We visited Bistrot Instinct for our wedding anniversary and had the tasting menu with accompanying drinks. It was fantastic! Every bite was full of amazing flavour and texture, and was presented beautifully - we particularly enjoyed the beef and the cherry profiterole. The staff were amazing too - friendly, smiley, helpful, knowledgeable and very prompt (no waiting to be served or have plates cleared at all). The restaurant is a super cute little bistrot, most of the tables are upstairs and set around the edges of the room so it feel both cosy and spacious at the same time. The volume was just right (not too loud but not quiet either). Thank you so much Bistrot Instinct, we loved our evening!
