14/06/2026: Group meeting of 20 people. They were readily available to understand our requests and last-minute adjustments. A warm and efficient welcome. A generous and delicious meal (appetizers, shrimp skewers, duck leg with orange sauce and seasonal vegetables, potato and Cantal cheese gratin, Baked Alaska) in a private room. In the morning, a meeting for our entire team upstairs in a beautiful, well-proportioned room with everything we needed, and, as always, a warm welcome and excellent breakfast. I have no doubt whatsoever that they will bring a wonderful energy to this business. Special mention also goes to the quality and management of the snow at Flaine – simply incredible!

28/05/2026: Quite surprised by the policy. We chose the all-you-can-eat option, but there was half a pizza left over that we couldn't finish. We were charged an extra €2 to take it away, otherwise it would be thrown straight in the bin. Preferring to waste food rather than let us eat it later is an ecological and commercial disgrace.

26/05/2026: We come here every time we're in Paris now. The prices for the all-you-can-eat buffet are very fair. I paid €6.50 for a large beer. The tarte flambée arrives quickly and is fresh. All of them can also be ordered as vegetarian options. Sitting in the vaulted cellar is especially recommended.

30/05/2026: Les Galopins offers brasserie-style cuisine, some dishes of which are an interesting fusion with Thai cuisine. During this dinner, I enjoyed both the prawn ravioli (be warned, the broth is quite spicy (6/10 on my personal scale)) and the Thai-style tartare, which was original, very flavorful (not too spicy: 2/10). For dessert, the raspberry soup was served with a "mystery" scoop (of raspberry) and delicious homemade Chantilly cream. A little less sugar wouldn't have bothered me, though. In short, "Les Galopins" is a good restaurant, with pleasant staff and efficient service. I recommend it without hesitation, suggesting that the team perhaps play some discreet background music (but that's just my opinion...). Total bill (for 2): €76. Starter, main course, and dessert. No cocktails, wine, or coffee. A bit pricey? PS: If it's very hot, ask to be seated on the outdoor patio; you'll be more comfortable there. More comfortable than indoors. And perhaps also quieter.

05/05/2026: We had the pleasure of discovering the Auberge du Pré Vieux in Grand-Bornand, and what a delightful surprise! 😍 Everything was absolutely delicious: I particularly loved the homemade cordon bleu, perfectly prepared, with a truly flavorful sauce 🤤 And what can I say about the dessert… the Snickers was pure bliss! Beyond the food, everything was perfect: the setting is warm and very pleasant, ideal for a relaxing time. The staff is incredibly attentive, lovely, and very welcoming. In short, an address we wholeheartedly recommend; we loved our experience and will gladly return 😊

15/05/2026: First of all it is advisable to book. I went today and it was packed with both French and English. I had to sit outside as I hadn't booked which is why.only 1 star for atmosphere. It looked lively though. It was so good to get HOT food which I think is not always the case elsewhere. I had the onion rings which were cooked perfectly followed by the beef and guiness pie with chips. Portions werf good. Having lived in France for 32 years, I miss a good old meat pie and this didn't disappoint. All in all a good lunch. The coffee was a tad too strong for me but that is down to taste. Would I vislit again - yes.
