30/07/2026: No information about paid parking. The guest wakes you up after a 3-hour break and demands payment for parking, even though there's no indication that it's paid.

30/07/2026: A very bad experience; I do not recommend this place. The restaurant owner wakes up drivers parked in the gas station parking lot, claiming he owns the land and that they have to pay to park. However, there are absolutely no signs indicating that the parking lot is pay-to-park. It's a very unpleasant experience. Trying to get money this way is truly dishonest. Nie Polecam!!!!

04/09/2026: I agree with the other reviews, the kebab was practically empty, you'll leave hungry. The fries were dry, you can tell they just reheated old fries.

08/07/2026: Absolutely terrible kebab shop. The owner is violent and drunk; he tried to hit him because he criticized his disgusting food. In short, avoid this place at all costs. Run away and enjoy a triangle kebab instead.

04/10/2026: Fantastic bakery, very welcoming, super clean, plenty of seating for lunch. The staff were excellent, especially one of them!

20/06/2026: Room is too small you don’t have space to open a suitcase, there is no table or closet. Breakfast is really bad you have some cold pancakes, dry bread, bad cheese and some salami. Dinner is different every day but it’s not good. Meet was cooked in old oil, spaghettis didn’t have enough sauce and they were dry. Cleaning lady didn’t make our bed good, she threw our stuff under the bed or in our suitcase. We asked reception if we can get new towels because they gave us dirty ones. She told us we need to watch out for towels because they don’t put new ones every day, which is weird for a hotel. You need to walk 45 minutes to the nearest beach. In my opinion it’s not worth your money and time.

19/05/2026: December 2024 I still think about my experiences at this restaurant to this day, which is why I feel moved to write this review. During my very first visit to France, I had the pleasure of dining at Le Bersot de l’Orient. I was staying nearby, and it became my go-to place throughout my two-week stay. I visited frequently; for brunch, lunch, dinner, and even supper. I also dined both alone and with friends, and each visit was memorable. Across every visit, the food was consistently delicious and deeply satisfying. Hailing from Singapore, a tropical island where I am more familiar with Southeast Asian cuisine, dining de l’Orient was new and exciting. At the same time, the flavours were unexpectedly nostalgic. During the winter months, the meals felt especially warm and hearty. I looked forward to the food to restore me after a long day of walking through the city. It is simple in the best way: honest, filling, and full of comfort, making it an excellent option for both lunch and late dinner. On one occasion, I brought a group of around twelve people, and we shared platters together. The atmosphere was lively yet easygoing, and it became a natural gathering point before continuing our evening plans. Dining here worked just as well for quiet meals as it did for group outings. I also appreciated that the food served is halal, and that the establishment is Muslim-owned, which gave me comfort as a Muslim diner. The washroom is clean and spacious. There is a bar area separate from the kitchen, and while alcoholic beverages are served, it is clearly distinct from the dining space -- something I note for Muslim patrons who may prefer to know. The restaurant itself is not extravagant, but it is warm, cosy, and memorable. It is located in a very walkable and convenient area, making it easy to return to throughout a stay in the city. The surrounding streets add to the atmosphere, especially in the evening when everything feels softly alive. I am deeply thankful to the Le Bersot de l’Orient team for taking such good care of me and for feeding us so well during my stay. These meals brought both comfort and joy during my time in France. More than just food, they were quiet moments of grounding in a foreign place, and they remain with me still. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. I wish them continued success, and many more years of serving food that brings people the same quiet comfort it brought me. Merci beaucoup.

11/08/2026: Always a warm welcome and excellent service at Marché et Café! I often go there with my mom; we love having a coffee and some shortbread cookies! The staff is super friendly. We especially like the petite brunette waitress with the septum piercing—she's very sweet and professional—but the other young woman and the young man are also very nice! They also have a great selection of teas and coffees, as well as some really cool gifts!

24/08/2026: Honestly, I'm not trying to criticize, but the person behind the counter was very unpleasant. They tried to make an effort to say hello and smile. I ordered a kebab, but the way they greeted me put me off my food. Sorry for this comment, but it's the truth.

19/09/2026: We've been customers since Franck first opened, and it's always a pleasure to come back! 🍕 The pizzas are excellent, with a truly unique crust unlike any we've ever tasted. That's definitely what makes all the difference! We come back every vacation and are always just as impressed. It's a must-try for us, and we recommend it without hesitation!

15/03/2026: We had lunch today with friends who had never been to this restaurant before and were delighted with their discovery. Never disappointed and always excellent, we ordered four royal couscous dishes. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions. Always a warm welcome, friendly waiter. 10/04/2026: We ordered two set menus at €28.50 each, plus two drinks and half a bottle of sparkling water. We had a €50 Wonderbox voucher, upgraded to €70. The two set menus came to €57, and we had to pay extra for the drinks and water, so the restaurant pocketed €13 and we were out an additional €15. Luckily, the meal was very good, but losing €13 from the Wonderbox and having to pay an extra €15 is excessive!

04/04/2026: A quiet hotel with a rustic style that gives it its charm. The bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is plentiful; nothing is lacking. The classic regional menu is very good. This hotel deserves to work hard; it's giving its all to stay afloat.

08/10/2026: Excellent value for money for a meal with friends or family. The portions are huge, especially the seafood platters and grilled meats, perfect for sharing. You definitely get your money's worth, and you always leave feeling very full. You eat a lot and eat well for a reasonable price. Doggy bag

26/08/2026: The food was very average. I've rarely had deviled eggs with such little flavor. The prices are excessive for the quality. The waiter wasn't very pleasant. I don't recommend it.

15/07/2026: Ordered pizza for the France-Spain final, what a disappointment in terms of taste! Never again. Make an effort, it's obvious your ingredients are poor quality. The service was friendly, that's the only positive point.
