04/07/2026: It was my first time at this place, and I was pleasantly surprised by the very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. The food was very fresh. I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: Came for lunch on Sunday... Very disappointed: enormous wait to take our order. The bull rib, ordered rare, was cold inside. When the order finally arrived... it wasn't what we had ordered. We weren't brought any water or bread.

13/09/2026: NEVER AGAIN! The salesman was incredibly unpleasant, and for €13 he forced me to pay extra for the credit card... for €1, knowing I'm a shopkeeper on the street. PLEASE RUN AWAY! The tobacconist between Saint Paul and Hôtel de Ville, opposite Hema, charges €10 for credit cards.

10/09/2026: We visited this café twice in less than 24 hours and ordered coffees each time. On our second visit, a third friend joined us with a small slice of pie she had bought from the bakery next door. A server came over and explained that if she wanted to stay with us, she would need to order something. No problem—we immediately offered to order her a coffee. He then informed us that she wasn't allowed to finish the slice of pie she had brought. I completely understand that a café might have a policy against outside food. What disappointed us was how such a minor situation was handled. We were returning customers for the second time in less than 24 hours, all three of us were willing to order, and a little courtesy and flexibility would have made all the difference. Instead, this interaction made us feel unwelcome. So we cancelled the extra coffee and left. Rules are rules, of course, but hospitality is also about how you treat people. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be spending another euro at this establishment.

21/09/2026: This is a simple, unpretentious bakery rather than a fancy pâtisserie. They don’t have elaborate pastries, but they offer a nice selection of savory items, including croque-monsieur, ficelles, and quiches. Everything was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A great little spot for a quick and tasty meal.

11/09/2026: I'm honestly very surprised by the rating. In my opinion, the bakery makes very good sandwiches at reasonable prices, and the young women who work there are very respectful and friendly.

07/12/2025: We dined last night at Le Montaigu, nestled in the heart of the Domaine de la Bretesche, and the experience was simply exceptional. The six-course menu captivated us with the finesse and balance of the dishes. Each plate was exquisitely precise and refined, without ever feeling heavy, a characteristic sometimes associated with tasting menus. The wine pairings perfectly complemented the entire meal: the sommelier, despite being a recent addition to the establishment, demonstrated remarkable professionalism, excellent advice, attentiveness, and exceptional charm. A special mention must also go to the restaurant manager and his entire team, who created an atmosphere that was both elegant and relaxed. There was no pretentious ambiance, but rather a genuine spirit of conviviality, making the experience all the more enjoyable. A huge congratulations to the entire team for their superb work: we left with unforgettable memories and a definite desire to return. P.S. We would be delighted to receive the list of wines tasted during this dinner.

16/11/2025: Well, okay, so-so... Being used to fine dining, I expected better from this beautiful place, and above all, I thought the value for money would be there... The dining room is lovely but unoriginal, although the fireplace is very pleasant. The service is really lacking. The waitress reads from a note hidden on her tray to tell us what's in the dishes, and they often forget to refill our wine or bread, forcing us to ask for it. Big mistake! My friend is gluten intolerant, and they brought us the amuse-bouches with gluten in them! Luckily, we asked if they were gluten-free, otherwise it would have been a disaster... As a result, we waited a long, long time for the rest of the course. We drank our champagne to fill our stomachs; the wait between courses was far too long, and given the size of the portions, we got hungry again very quickly. The dishes were decent, some were better than others, but nothing exceptional. The second major mistake: no cheese! I, who rarely eat dessert, had no choice but to have one (citrus-flavored, which I don't particularly like...). We're in France, and in a region overflowing with diverse and varied cheeses; it's unthinkable not to offer something like that. What about someone with diabetes?! In short, my partner gave me this meal as a birthday present, and it was a bit of a disappointment that will be hard to get over. A small positive note for the head waiter and his helpfulness and kindness. The price was very high... even in Monaco, you don't pay that much for this kind of meal. Sorry, we won't be back... there are better options elsewhere, even though the setting is unique.

17/07/2026: I wanted to order a frappé. The owner replied: "I don't make them, you don't see how many people are here. I have other things to do!"

10/05/2026: I arrived at 12:45 on May 8th, the weekly market day, alone without a reservation. Despite this, I wasn't kept waiting long, and received attentive service with impeccable smiles. The daily special (mussels marinière with blue cheese and a raspberry crumble dessert) was delicious, and coffee and appetizers were offered. I was only one person on the menu, yet I was treated perfectly, feeling like a regular at home. It was my first time there. The quarter bottle of Côtes du Rhône at €13.50 on the wine list was salty, but this surprise was easily forgotten thanks to the overall experience. Highly recommended. Hervé D.

12/06/2026: The snack bar was bland, the vol-au-vent was cold, sent back to the kitchen, and the chicken basquaise had no sauce. There were bits of frozen water in the pistachio ice cream. And the coffee was disgusting. The service was terrible. Avoid this place.

28/08/2026: The saleswoman was super nice and cool. Always perfect personally, but it's like everything else: we criticize what we are! For my part, being very polite and educated, I find it really pathetic to attack the staff. Are you impeccable at your own job, you who preach perfection? Leave your workplace details for every unpleasant comment, so we can happily compare your feelings with the reality of your work. Equality for all, right? Oh, and I almost forgot the most important thing: while reading about gloves, until proven otherwise (yes, yes, we need laws), gloves are mandatory by law, only for motorcycles, and in a bakery, I don't see them on a motorcycle 😂

19/08/2026: I wanted to have lunch there, and the staff were sweeping while I was eating. Then the tables weren't clean, and then the worst part... the toilets: a horror, they were disgusting, truly. You open the door, you look, and you don't even bother to run away to wash your hands. It's unacceptable to see that in a bakery that also serves food. A little inspection would do them good. And this was late morning.

18/09/2026: I had a great time with my friend. It's a fantastic all-you-can-eat Asian buffet restaurant that I highly recommend.

12/09/2026: An "all-you-can-eat" buffet where the food disappears at 1 p.m. while there are still plenty of people there… 🤦‍♂️ We came specifically to enjoy the buffet, but as soon as service started, some dishes were removed. The result: far fewer choices and a frankly disappointing experience. "All-you-can-eat" normally means you can serve yourself during service, not that the buffet starts closing while customers are still eating. Very disappointed, I do not recommend it. (The servers do have some manners!)

21/10/2025: Homemade, high-quality cuisine. A small menu that blends Corsican and local specialties. A minimalist atmosphere, but with a beautiful fireplace where the meats are cooked.

14/02/2026: Asmaa is very professional and kind. The dishes are generous and delicious. I recommend it.

24/01/2026: We arrived from our trip hungry and were looking for a place to eat. Since it was in front of one of the main squares on Christmas Day and seemed like an inviting place, we went in to ask for information. We were judged for having luggage and treated rudely. If we wanted to read the menu, they told us to go outside to read the sign and turned their backs on us. Because of the way we were received, we chose another place for our Christmas dinner. I do not recommend it! Responding to the owner's comment, it wasn't four suitcases, it was just one small one and one larger one belonging to my friend. The nearby restaurants welcomed us very well. The language barrier is the worst excuse to use and is xenophobic, since I speak both languages ​​mentioned as I live in France, although with a more pronounced accent as it's not my first language. At no point was a waiting time mentioned; it's just an excuse to mask the disdain of the service, which was the real reason we chose not to stay.

12/05/2026: This restaurant no longer exists; it's closed and is now a Creole restaurant.

30/03/2026: I love this place, affordable for all budgets... the buffet is very well stocked... impeccable service, friendly staff... I go back once a week... always just as good... it has a kind of family canteen feel... In October 2024, I'm going back again... after being abroad... The restaurant has been renovated... there's no longer a grill on the tables, but someone is available to grill the meat. 04/09/2026: I bought a sugar brioche and a raisin bread. The brioche seemed to be a day old, and the raisin bread was the same. I went back, and a woman suggested it might be overcooked. I left them the bread; my dog ​​ate the brioche. The service was excellent.
