12/07/2026: Decent wraps and service. The worst toilets ever.

01/07/2026: In this heatwave, I was looking for a shady terrace, and as a bonus, this one was beautifully flowered 👍. After a morning spent in the lavender fields, I wanted a light, refreshing lunch, and above all, a reasonable price: a Perrier with a slice of lemon €3.30, a Caesar salad box €7, and an ice cream sundae €7, for a total of €17.30 😉. No complaints about the food or the service. If I'd wanted a restaurant, I would have gone to the neighboring terrace; this place ticks all the right boxes for a snack! As you can see, for me, challenge accepted, I had a lovely time in this little square in Valensole.

13/06/2026: Honestly this was the only place where I had a bad experience as a tourist on a recent trip. Spotted this little bar and thought it would be the perfect spot for a drink by the river in the sunshine. Went and ordered a glass of champagne, not bad price at 8 euro - they asked me to pay cash, I thought maybe the card machine wasn’t working so gave a 10 euro note, they kept the change…!! And a few minutes later I saw them offer the card machine to another customer so obviously it was working and they just ripped me off. The glass of champagne was tiny BUT at least it was cold and I got to sit by the river for a bit admiring the views. Nonetheless wouldn’t recommend this place and wouldn’t go back.

04/04/2026: Very nice place at the waterside, nice in the sun! Dont take the wine it is in paper cups, but the special beers is nice cold in the bottles! Acceptable pricee

25/06/2026: Appalling service. They forgot to bring us two portions of fries, not to mention the Coca-Cola that was served so quickly. The bespectacled manager must have been very busy. He's incompetent!

24/06/2026: Great McDonald's! I was greeted by wonderful people at the counter, including the cashier and the first assistant manager. Pleasant, smiling, top-notch service, and I highly recommend it. They didn't forget anything on my order. When I'm back in Grenoble, I'll definitely stop by again.

17/06/2026: On Sunday, we ordered the set menu. When it came time to pay, the payment terminal wasn't working properly, so we had to swipe our card a second time. As a result, the amount was debited from our account twice. We returned to the restaurant and, despite the promise of a refund, we still haven't received it. We are very disappointed by this situation and are still waiting for the promised refund. Due defect in pin apparaat 2 x betaald. Oigenaar wilde ons niet geloven en terug ondanks dat we het konden laten zien. Advice: ergens anders gaan eten

11/04/2026: I was given a coffee containing a hair. When I pointed this out, I even had to defend myself, and he asked if I had a problem. I replied that this was not the case and simply pointed out to him that there was a hair in my coffee. After a sneer from the owner, I received a new coffee, but this time there was red lipstick on the cup.

12/07/2026: Today, Monday 12/07, we found a dead wasp in a rustic sandwich…

21/06/2026: Awful! €11 for a measly, pre-packaged salad with two pieces of green beans, a potato, and some wilted lettuce. A total rip-off. Not to mention the unpleasant cashiers who couldn't even crack a smile. They take advantage of the fact that we had no choice but to eat once we'd gone through boarding.

21/12/2025: Grumpy waitress Annoyed when asked a question Limited selection at 7 a.m. Only one raisin bread, for example. Lectures a customer who buys her entire stock, what she had planned to sell for the day. Why go into this line of work if you're so bitter? I fear the financial results will reflect her lack of enthusiasm. Customers should avoid this place.

25/11/2025: I love Subway, but please update your hours. I arrived on a Saturday at 7 PM, and online it said Subway closes at 10 PM. As a result, I arrived, and it was closed. This happens very often, so please update your hours.

12/05/2026: We went there for lunch today, ordering takeout. When we got home, we were completely disappointed. The meat had a suspicious, sour smell, very little filling, and the bread was hard and dry. There was no one in the restaurant, and the spit was almost empty, probably the one from the day before that hadn't been properly stored. We threw everything in the bin. My advice: if you don't want to get sick, don't go there at all!!! It's changed a lot compared to a few years ago.

01/08/2026: It all takes a very long time. Not clean, and you don't expect much at a McDonald's to begin with, but this takes the cake.

27/06/2026: We ordered a warm goat cheese salad and a Niçoise salad. I got 4 olives and my boyfriend got 3 ;-)). No walnuts, almonds, or balsamic vinegar. In short, terrible salads for €22. Unfriendly service. Avoid at all costs.

27/06/2026: Run away! Appalling service! Tiny, frozen portion, exorbitant price! Dreadful place

13/07/2026: We just arrived in Soulac and went into the first restaurant we tried—what a disappointment! The only positive point was the friendliness of the staff who were working hard to make it run smoothly. But the owner must be burning himself to smile, and what's the point of him if he doesn't even talk to his team! Last but not least, the food: frozen fries, too salty, mussels overcooked—nothing special. I came, but I won't be back.

07/06/2026: ⭐ Restaurant - A huge disappointment (despite a good meal) An overall very frustrating experience. The service was simply deplorable: no organization whatsoever, an interminable wait for even the simplest order, and to top it all off, unfriendly staff who acted like they were being bothered. The only positive point of this meal was the Provençal galette, which was truly delicious. It's a shame the food was ruined by such disastrous service. I won't be back.

04/08/2026: Bad experience. The owner was aggressive and the welcome was very unpleasant. She vehemently refused to make a crepe for my daughter when she politely asked. Avoid this place! I do not recommend it.

18/07/2026: Run away, you poor things! The cooks work without gloves, touch the garbage, and don't wash their hands! The quality is truly pathetic, and the prices are outrageous!!! It's better not to eat here than to eat here!

25/06/2026: We arrived at the restaurant to find filthy tables, and when an Asian waitress came and we politely asked her to clean our table, she didn't even respond. Then, when she came back to clean the table, she just slapped the crumbs on top of it! I find that unacceptable. And to top it off, the fries were only half full. Ugh, I've never been served so badly!

01/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed their Berber pastries. The welcome was fantastic. I still need to try their homemade couscous.

04/03/2026: I visited this bakery to pick up a package and buy some pastries. Contrary to many reviews, the gentleman was very kind and the kalb El louz are very good.
