25/05/2026: Beware of misleading photos and small rooms. Advertised as a 4-star hotel. The reality is quite different. We booked 5 nights at the Grand Hôtel de Serre Chevalier, advertised as a 4-star hotel, right in front of the ski lifts. Prices varied depending on the day, around €200 per night. The website is enticing: beautiful photos, swimming pool, ski lockers, and it looks spacious. At the end of the season, we expected at least something clean and functional. The room. Tiny. You have to move sideways to avoid bumping into things. Zero storage, barely enough space to hang a jacket. We also noticed sloppy finishing touches, like a missing electrical outlet cover. We dropped off our luggage and left immediately because we had reservations. It wasn't until we returned in the evening that we truly discovered the state of the place: stained duvet and sheets, black carpet covered in marks, and a phone with a layer of grease and dust two centimeters from the headboard. And the bathroom... thick black and orange mold, layers of hair, toothpaste stains on the walls and mirror, black marks that had clearly never been cleaned. A real mess. I've attached photos, of course. The hotel's reaction. The next morning, I went down to complain at reception (another guest was doing the same thing right next door). That afternoon, when I returned, the room still hadn't been cleaned. An employee came over, condescendingly acknowledging that "it's indeed not clean," without offering any solution whatsoever. I was told that I couldn't change rooms, as the hotel was full. I would learn at the end of my stay that this was untrue. A technician then came to redo the shower grout (not all of it, but the effort was noted), which meant we were without our room for a few hours while it dried. This clearly demonstrates that it wasn't impossible to do it before our arrival. On the next cleaning, the toothpaste stains were still there, an open safety pin was lying on the floor, and the towel rack had never been cleaned. I ended up cleaning it myself. With each cleaning, new hairs appeared in the sink, clearly not mine. The rest. Booking a time slot at the pool is complicated. The hotel hallways are dirty: dust on the walls, crumbs on the floor, and this remained the case for several days until we complained. The only real positive point: the breakfast, which was nice. Communications with management. By email, I received a response saying they were new. Fine, but mold doesn't appear overnight, and the end of the season is still a few months ago. I asked, at the very least, not to pay for the first night (the one we couldn't shower in this state) as well as compensation for the few hours we were out of the room while the technician worked on it. A flat refusal, with an invitation to come back and see the improvements. No thanks. The lesson of this stay: don't let yourself be taken advantage of. You pay for a service, and when that service isn't provided, you have rights. Claim them on the spot, and don't give up.

20/08/2024: It's expensive and dirty, no greetings. The glasses were all sticky, especially not washed yellow at the bottom, strawberry diabolo without bubbles, we didn't have the time to go to the toilet.

22/09/2024: The prices are very fair, the servers are super friendly and there is a good atmosphere. Honestly, it’s worth the detour!!

20/08/2024: We had seen tis small bar on google and went there to see for ourself, It is a bar with a small kitchen and we came at the wrong time, they were going on vacation so the kitchen was basicly closed... However Philip (asumed the owner?) did not just give up on us and offered 2 choices a cheese plate or a sandwich with Salmon, we choose the last and wow did Philipe suprise us the salmon was very very fresh great sliced and came with 2 pieces of toast and butter, it was finger licking good lol...the beer was a great lightbeer and the atmosphere was very good. If we go back to Paris we will go back to le 347

28/08/2024: Great address! Top notch welcome and service. The dishes/tapas are really good. I recommend with your eyes closed. Which would be a shame because the place is magnificent!

14/01/2025: One star, but if we could give zero plus one! A so-called manager, as friendly and welcoming as a prison door, stares at you with wide eyes and practically attacks you with a simple "hello." We ask for a pizza without ham, with the topping advertised as "ham OR bacon," not both. Besides learning some manners, this woman should also develop her IQ, which is about the same as the outside temperature, and learn to read the ingredients of the products she sells. Maybe she can't read either. So we ask for a pizza without ham and end up with a pizza... with BACON! "I didn't make a mistake, you told me no ham, not no bacon." First of all, the topping doesn't contain both; it's OR, not AND. And if we ask for a pizza without ham, by definition without pork, common sense would dictate that we also shouldn't put bacon on it. Perhaps common sense is a foreign concept to her. We called her, 75th pizza, not an apology but instead a condescending and haughty tone from a hussy who told us to get lost. Never again.

08/09/2024: Super restaurant Très bonne cuisine Menu variés, avec un prix attractif 15,90€ entrée,plat,dessert,café ou verre de vin Les patrons super sympa A découvrir pour ne pas manger trop cher, et la cuisine est excellente, et servi avec le sourire ce qui est rare de nos jours

31/08/2024: 1er jour, attente de 40 mns pour manger le dessert. Le patron nous sert 2 cafés au lieur d'un seul comme prévu dans le menu et non facturé. Ah Sympa! Le lendemain, la patronne nous sert 2 verres de vin au lieu d'un seul comme prévu dans le menu ( 1café ou 1 verre de vin par personne), remarque lui est faite, tant pis je l'ai déjà tapé à la caisse dit elle! Nous avons compris cadeau. Et bien non, à la caisse le patron nous facture 2 verres de vin et 1 café, et la patronne à la rescousse de rajouter au patron tout gêné, tu avais compté un seul café Hier, de toute façon vous êtes gagnant! En vacances, pas d'esclandre, je dis au patron pas de souci pour 1.50 euro, je paie! A méditer, un verre de vin en cubi certainement moins cher qu'un café! Brasserie bas de gamme en qualité comme en quantité, personnel également!

16/08/2024: Serveuses non souriantes, des prix affichés à la carte qui n’étais pas ceux indiqué sur le ticket de caisse. Un soit disant "patron" remettant nos dires en question et n’acceptant en aucuns cas la critique. Les moules immondes ! Pas nettoyé, et pas fraîche. Casiment pas de sauce .. C’est un restaurant à fuire !

21/08/2025: Excellent vegetarian Asian cuisine, bursting with flavor. Excellent welcome and service. A very pleasant surprise.

26/01/2025: Des tables avec des fauteuils ou on se sent bien ,la carte est tres bien faite avec un large choix il y en a pour tout le monde, la nourriture est excellente et le service est rapide au top.
