28/07/2024: We were not expecting the outstanding quality of the food at this museum cafe. From starter to dessert it was delicious with great presentation. One of the best and most enjoyable meals we’ve had in a really pleasant environment. The menu is limited but for a reason- they really put the effort in to what they produce. Fine dining on a budget- a three course meal was 23-28 euro plus drinks.
21/06/2024: Situé dans les batiments du musée Les Abattoirs; nous étions en terrasse. Bon accueil. Cuisine simple et très correcte. A 2 personnes avec un verre de vin et un dessert nous en avons eu pour 50 €.

A notre arrivée la serveuse nous donne les cartes sans préciser qu'il y avait un repas du jour. Plats n'ayant pas de saveurs, filet mignon de porc sec donnant l'impression d'être réchauffé. Desserts quelconques. Aucune présentation des plats lors du service.

29/10/2025: We were told they would not cook any food when we stepped into the restaurant and we can only order those food in the tray that looked as if it has stayed there for ages…There is no customer inside the restaurant. Feel like a complete scam and a waste of time to go there….

02/06/2026: A very charming establishment located just a few dozen meters from the ramparts and the beach. The place has a vintage atmosphere. Breakfast is homemade. The couple who run it are lovely and always in perfect harmony.

On est toujours accueilli avec un grand sourire par le chef.

Pour moi le meilleurs restaurant du coin et de loin.
les prix sont raisonnables. On reviendra !

14/10/2024: While staying in Carcassonne, my hotel offered an overpriced & disappointing breakfast. I came here instead. Much better food, professional and friendly staff and a decent coffee too.
