01/05/2026: As indicated, the place isn't temporarily closed but very much open, much to our delight, especially for lunch, as they serve a different menu each day, which you can view on their website or see posted outside. The owner prepares a healthy and complete menu daily, including a starter and a main course served with green tea for only 17 euros. It's best to arrive right at opening time, around noon, as it fills up very quickly. Payment is made across the street at the delicatessen. A truly great Japanese address to add to your list. Tasting events are also organized there.

02/06/2026: I stopped for a quick lunch at this small, simple but charming establishment. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the service. I was surprised by the rather cold welcome. Three times, I was asked to sit down when I simply wanted to place a quick order at the counter and avoid Karen having to come back several times, knowing that people were queuing there. However, I do want to qualify my opinion. The fries are homemade and very good, which is worth mentioning. Regarding the service, I'm still giving it two stars because the person in charge was alone and clearly seemed overwhelmed. You can tell she's trying her best to manage the crowd, and the service remains relatively fast. Unfortunately, this pressure seems to be affecting her mood and how she interacts with customers, which is a shame… :/ I even tried to help out by returning my dishes, seeing that she had a lot to do, but I was reprimanded for this initiative. It's a shame, because it leaves a rather unpleasant impression, even though the place has many advantages. On the other hand, the prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is quite good. With a warmer welcome, I certainly would have returned, as I think many other customers would have too. It's all the more disappointing because this place has real potential!

09/12/2025: I just saw that the place I used to go to so often during my lunch break has closed down—a place full of life, with great decor and healthy, inexpensive food that kept me full until dinner. I hope to see this unique place again.

11/06/2024: Very warm welcome, everything is homemade and you can feel it. The bread, pastries, sandwiches and quiches are excellent.

29/03/2024: Refusal of a glass of water! I have a slice of pizza, a brioche, I sit on one of the two tables inside, also ask for a coffee. All for 6.30 euros. I am thirsty and ask for a glass of water, I am told that there is no glass. I suggest they use a coffee cup. I was told that the boss forbids it because the cups cost money!!! Poor cheapskate, not a business person at all, on the verge of letting people cre..., lamentable, his two employees present also stupid... For not giving me a glass of water in their little 12 CL coffee cups . Small and despicable!

13/07/2026: ⚠️ ILLEGAL AND UNACCEPTABLE PRACTICE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS We visited this bar on Sunday, July 12th at 11:50 AM. Upon entry, we received no information about any cover charge. It was only as we were leaving that two people at the cash register blocked our way, aggressively demanding payment of €35 per person for entry, in addition to the cost of our drinks. Even worse: faced with this dishonest practice, we demanded a receipt including VAT. The manager categorically refused to provide us with the legally required receipt (which is mandatory for purchases over €25), openly stating: "We don't pay VAT and we don't collect it." This complete lack of transparency, the intimidation of customers upon leaving, and the blatant tax fraud are intolerable. To the manager: We demand the immediate reimbursement of these undue and extorted sums, which were obtained without prior notice. If we do not receive any contact from you within 48 hours to resolve this dispute amicably, the complete reports (including our proof of bank debit) will be forwarded this week to the DGCCRF (SignalConso) for deceptive business practices and refusal to issue a receipt, as well as to the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFIP) for proven VAT fraud. A word to the wise.
