01/05/2026: Very good food and a warm welcome!

01/05/2026: We were a group of 10 at the New York Café Karaoke. We had a very good meal and the server was pleasant 👍 But the karaoke was a real disappointment. The person in charge didn't engage at all and didn't participate, which made the atmosphere very dull. For comparison, we were at Froggy on April 22nd, and it was completely different: the host created a great atmosphere, sang, encouraged everyone… it was truly wonderful and everyone was delighted. After this experience, I don't think I'll be going back to the New York Café Karaoke.

25/04/2026: Capucine, Thomas, and Lise: top-notch service and a truly fantastic team. I rarely take the time to leave a review for a bar, but I simply had to this time. The welcome was among the best I've ever experienced; it was simple, warm, and genuine. I highly recommend it.

14/04/2026: Excellent place! A top-notch kebab shop, truly exceptional because it's run by incredibly lovely and welcoming women. The service is quick, always with a smile, and you immediately feel at ease. The sandwiches are generous, well-filled, and delicious, made with fresh ingredients. You can tell everything is prepared with care. It's definitely a place you'll want to return to, both for the quality and the friendliness of the staff. I recommend it 100%! You can go without hesitation!

03/04/2026: Excellent welcome, quality products, generous portions, hygiene seems impeccable. Small terrace. Highly recommended. I'm only giving it 4 stars for the atmosphere because it's a nice little kebab shop, not really a place with a "lively" atmosphere. To be honest, rating the atmosphere doesn't really make sense. ☺️

24/03/2026: As an occasional customer of this neighborhood restaurant, I was very disappointed today. The wait between courses was far too long. I had to keep asking the waitress for my main course. She was deep in conversation with an Italian tourist who had just sat down next to me and completely ignored me. My dish finally arrived along with the one meant for the Italian, even though it had arrived more than half an hour after mine. She served me with an ironic, "I hadn't forgotten you." What can I say? She continued chatting with this Milanese customer, giving him a tour of Lyon, pacing back and forth while completely ignoring me. I was hoping to order dessert, but my gestures, both with my eyes and my hand, went unanswered. Disheartened, I got up to pay at the register. I didn't hesitate to express my disappointment with the service to the second waitress (who was much more charming, by the way). Le patron toujours fidèle à lui-même est bien sympathique, mais vraisemblablement ne se doute pas qu'en salle c'est une vraie cacophonie. Bref franchement même si vous n'êtes pas contraint par le temps, vous allez devoir prendre votre mal en patience. Ou alors faites-vous passer pour un transalpin, ça ira beaucoup plus vite. À bon entendeur...

09/07/2025: My previous review has been revised due to a change in our previous location. My apologies to the owner. I discovered Villa Margaret thanks to a friend from Lanester. A great place to stay. Magnificent view and top-notch cocktails. Thank you for your hospitality.

05/07/2025: We waited 15 minutes at the table for a drink. The waiter walked past us 3 times to clear the tables next to us, and stayed at the bar laughing between clearing the tables. So we went to the bar next door, were served straight away and greeted with a smile. We went to the beach bar, very warm welcome.

15/04/2026: Excellent service, lovely gentleman who changed the screws on my computer in no time: I will only go there for my repairs and I advise you to do the same!

08/02/2026: We ate there on Saturday evening, and the dishes were served cold. But it was still very good. On the other hand, I feel sorry for the waitresses who were being scolded by the chef. I don't think that's normal at all during service. We were greeted by the young woman; she was great! There was a smell of cigarettes in the restaurant when we arrived, which wasn't very pleasant.
