18/08/2026: We ate at the Auberge de la Besse after seeing a video that presented the cuisine as regional and original (rooster's comb, pig's head, snails, parsley sauce, chicken liver pâté, crayfish coulis, etc.) for €45, but we didn't know much more. We were a little taken aback by the service, although very friendly: no menu (number of courses or allergies), no prices, and no list of aperitifs either, assuming we already knew what to expect. The wine list, although heavily redacted, is very well curated and reasonably priced (only by the bottle to see the price). The meal began with charcuterie and bread, followed by two soups, also with bread. The dishes weren't presented, and we asked about the menu when the third starter (beef carpaccio, which was very good) arrived, as it seemed like a long wait (two hours before the main course). The water ran out during the meal. We finished eating after three hours, a little disappointed despite the food being quite good and the staff remaining welcoming, although a bit overwhelmed. We paid €48 per set menu instead of €45 as indicated on the website and only discovered the price of our drinks at the register. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going there, but for the price of the set menu, we felt the food and service weren't up to par.

23/08/2026: Small, vintage restaurant. The owner was single-handedly managing both the dining room and the kitchen, but he was incredibly organized. There was no wait, he was pleasant and friendly, but most importantly, the food was good—very good, in fact. Highly recommended.

09/09/2026: Exceptional experience all around. The signature items such as Tête de Veau and Omelette norvégienne were delicious; much better than at other places. Service was excellent too, and the place is very nice. Highly recommended.

30/07/2026: The steak and desserts were delicious, but the side dishes were just average. The wines on the wine list weren't great value, and the service was mediocre. They kept urging us to order, even though the restaurant only had two tables. We originally ordered two different steaks, but only one arrived at the end. The waiter said we only ordered one, and then charged us a quarter extra for that steak, which was outrageous and felt like they were taking advantage of us.

21/08/2026: I've been going to this Korean restaurant for almost 20 years, and I always return with the same pleasure. It's no coincidence! The food is authentic and delicious. The ingredients are high-quality, the portions generous, and the flavors remain as memorable as the first time. But what also makes the difference is the welcome, the kindness, and the warm atmosphere. Over the years, this place has become much more than just a restaurant: a place where you feel right at home. 20 years of loyalty is the best testimonial I can give. ❤️ A true institution that I wholeheartedly recommend to all lovers of Korean cuisine. 🇰🇷 Thank you for all these wonderful years… and here's to many more!

06/07/2026: Very good food, very helpful staff. Large portions, DIY barbeque. Very flavourful, but the meal takes time. Don't come here if you're in a rush. With some time, you'll have a great meal!

16/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic! Friendly, smiling, and helpful, the lady who looked after us was wonderful. Go check it out; they have wines, yes, but also local products at very reasonable prices.

25/07/2026: Very bad service, they didnt give us tap water just because we are tourist's. For those who are locals, they gave tap water. This is ridiculous. They gave us a shot glass of water.

05/09/2026: The worst experience in a long time... We introduced ourselves, were asked to wait a moment, another customer arrived behind us and asserted their presence (so much for good manners), and they were served before us... it's not a disaster in itself, but it's the restaurant staff's responsibility to treat customers in the order they arrived; that alone sets a good tone... Having spotted some menus we liked on the website, imagine our surprise when we were offered only a meager (very meager) selection of specials, condemned to eat a (far too) classic burger (and then, after ordering, we discovered that some tables (well, one large table) were entitled to the set menu, but not all, probably a few regulars with special privileges?). And the food... the worst burger I've ever eaten, mealy fries, the most meager fillings imaginable (overcooked patty, thin slice of cheese, minimal sauce, pickle), and a bun that was as dry as could be. We didn't order dessert because of the exorbitant price and the very poor quality of the food. We were hoping for a pleasant late summer evening, but it was a complete flop. We won't be back.
