20/04/2026: I stopped at La Station during my bike ride for a drink and received a fantastic welcome. They immediately offered to refill my water bottle and gave me pretzels to refuel. It's clear that the person who works here loves their job and enjoys helping others, so I can't imagine having a bad time here, especially since there's a pétanque or molkky court on the terrace. I highly recommend this place.

15/04/2026: I drove past this place two years ago, and made a mental note to visit. Drove past it last weekend and fulfilled my wish. After many years in France, and many fish and chips meals, this is the BEST I've ever had here. Simple decor but with food like this, you don't need extravagant soundings. Estelle and Ben were really friendly and a joy to meet. My kids and I had fish and chips obviously and were not disappointed. The only place I have been to, offering both brown sauce AND malt vinegar as condiments! A true rarity. My partner (Normandy origins) was very happy with a burger topped with camembert. Finished the meal with a sticky toffee pudding, again a joy and rarity to have. If your British and want a true taste of home, stop by here. 26/04/2026: We went there on a Saturday at lunchtime and ate on the terrace, which is very pleasant with a lovely view of the bridge and the church of Damvix and close to the water; we received a very warm welcome; we chose the first set menu, which included poached skate as a main course, which was excellent with beautifully presented vegetables; we will be back.

25/04/2026: A lovely evening in the gentle spring weather, surrounded by the tranquility of the Marais Poitevin. The dishes, remarkable for their apparent simplicity, were beautifully presented, generous, and without unnecessary fuss. The service was attentive and kind.

26/04/2026: You don't stumble upon this place by chance, as it's located a little outside the village center, but it's well worth the trip. The welcome is very friendly and the fries are excellent, golden brown on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside. Pleasant terrace
