25/05/2026: Two days of pure bliss at Domaine des Falaises. Everything was beautiful: the setting, the garden, the pool. Our room was a true haven, clean and comfortable. We could hear the neighbors a little, but it didn't bother us at all. And the restaurant... wow! A small menu, but all dishes executed to perfection. A feast for the eyes and the palate. A huge thank you to the chef and the entire team. We left with only one desire: to return soon.

19/08/2026: The burgers are absolutely excellent! A good variety (even vegetarian options), a real treat! We ordered twice (in two different villages) so there was no wait. The Époisses burger is excellent, and the Franche-Comté burger is too!

03/06/2026: We stayed three days at the Hôtel-Restaurant L’Héritage and it was love at first sight. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional welcome and the quality of service immediately put us at ease. You can feel the dedication of the team, their attentiveness, and their genuine concern for the well-being of their guests. The impeccable, clean, and comfortable rooms made our stay particularly enjoyable. The building's characterful architecture adds an authentic charm that makes you want to return. As for the restaurant, we have nothing but praise: the food is excellent, generous, and perfectly executed. Every meal was a delight. In short, we loved this place. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return.

26/05/2026: I was in Cognac for work as a photographer, and I had the pleasure of spending the night in this magnificent hotel right in the city center. A huge thank you, especially to the young man at reception who was working on May 22, 2026. Thank you so much for all his attentiveness and kindness! And what a comfortable bed! Pure bliss—we didn't want to get up. Everything was very clean and welcoming, and the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

07/06/2026: Discovered somewhat by chance, we sat down at what looked like a charming village restaurant, but which was actually run by a couple with a true passion for gourmet cuisine. Plates bursting with color and flavors that exploded on the palate, leaving you with only one regret: not being able to eat again and again! An exceptional place, equally exceptional cuisine, and a welcome that made you feel right at home. We look forward to returning on our next trip to the south. Nadia and Eric

04/05/2026: Le Bistrot at Hotel de Tourrel : Recently opened adds another beautiful experience to the already existing Michelin starred restaurant and rooftop (depending on season) The setting strikes a lovely balance, relaxed and sophisticated at once, the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease while everything around you reflects real care and attention. The service is genuinely top-notch; attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. The menu is varied and attractive, the food absolutely delicious, and the prices extremely reasonable for the quality on offer.

03/05/2026: Lovely little boutique hotel right in the middle of Saint-Remy-de-Provence. Staff will recognize you almost immediately after you check in, and will do everything they can to make your stay excellent. Very quiet inside, although realistically the town is also quiet which helps. There's a pool (!!), although not heated. It'll be cold if you're visiting in the off-season. The dinner restaurant, Restaurant de Tourrel, is also incredible, must do.

28/05/2026: An exceptional restaurant, from the service and welcome to the simple yet delicious and well-prepared dishes. Excellent value for money. The staff are exceptionally kind and professional. Dogs are welcome (we have two Chihuahuas 😉). Accessible for people with reduced mobility.

The food is excellent, flavorful, and consistently high quality with every order. A big thank you also to the staff, who are always very welcoming, smiling, and pleasant. It's a real pleasure to order from them; I highly recommend them!

13/03/2026: A charming address, a magical place nestled among the fir trees and right on the slopes. Julie and her team are incredibly attentive, and it's pure bliss. A huge congratulations also to the Chef and his team in the kitchen; a culinary journey as beautiful as it is delicious. I had the pleasure of staying at this establishment last year, again this year, and my family trip is already planned for next year!

09/03/2026: The location is exceptional, the view of Mont Blanc from the rooms and terraces is magnificent. Everything is spacious and bright. A true ski-in/ski-out experience. Breakfast is very good with plenty of homemade cakes (freshly squeezed orange juice would have been a welcome addition, though). The evening menus are varied, alternating between fish and meat dishes. The cooking is perfect. We were always offered lovely desserts. Perhaps we would have appreciated a choice between two main courses. But we understand that you need to plan your supplies carefully, as you cook on-site with products that are most likely fresh. In any case, we felt a genuine desire to satisfy us and adapt to our tastes. All the staff are incredibly attentive. Julie, the manager, is very welcoming. She offers excellent advice, both about her hotel and the resort. We will most certainly return as soon as possible.

22/10/2025: Such an amazing experience. Liz and Joe were the most gracious hosts and treated my partner and I exceptionally. With an incredibly informative tour, exceptional food and world class wine. Anything written in this review doesn't do the evening we spent with them enough credit to an unforgettable night and lovley people. If we ever have the opportunity of being in the region again, we will be returning.

24/09/2025: Winery visit: it is impossible to overstate the warmth of hospitality of Joe and Liz! We arrived as strangers, and left feeling like family. The winery tour was everything we could have hoped for: starting with a chilled glass of white on the terrace overlooking the hills, tasting grapes on the vine about to be harvested, a tour of the equipment, pouring wines straight from the tank and dipping a cask, with Joe telling anecdotes about the history as well as explaining how it’s done. Finally Liz’s amazing and generous cooking in their beautiful dining room, including her home-cured salmon. She even tweaked the menu to ensure that our young Asian friends got a home-cooked rice dish. Convivial doesn’t begin to describe it. Thankfully, Liz also arranged with our taxi driver to come back rather later than originally planned 😂. Practical note: it’s about 20 minutes drive from Carcassonne and they can recommend taxi drivers.
