23/05/2026: Very negative review this lunchtime, whereas usually, as a regular customer of this restaurant, I have no complaints. Today, despite very few people (barely 6 or 7 in the restaurant), the service was particularly disappointing. The waiter seemed to be neglecting all his duties: taking our order took a very long time, I had to go and get it, and I had to ask twice for the children's kit, which is normally provided as soon as we sat down. The transition between courses was also interminable. Apparently, cleaning lampshades during service seemed more important than serving customers. When I pointed out that it might not be appropriate to perform this type of task during service, I was told that it came from the manager's instructions. It would have been much more sensible to clean the sticky stain on the floor, which I pointed out as soon as I arrived at 11:45 am in front of three members of the team who were themselves seated at a table eating. Finally, dessert arrived, followed immediately by the bill: a real lack of professionalism. They make you wait to be served, but when it comes to taking your payment, everyone is available. In short, a very disappointing experience this lunchtime, with a lethargic, uninvolved team who accepted feedback with a blasé and haughty air.

16/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A delight from start to finish! We had a wonderful time at La Bar Bak. The welcome was simply superb, friendly, and very warm. As for the food, nothing to complain about: it was delicious, well-prepared, and generous portions. We highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back.

03/07/2026: Great little Italian influenced gem close to Place des Vosges. The food is fresh and excellent - the menu changes every week and provides choices between starters, pasta, and mains. The service is great and the owner Diego is the nicest guy! Highly recommend it - all the Americans go to nearby "Chez Janou" where the food isn't that great while all the locals go to Dice - that should tell you everything...

02/06/2026: Hello, we discovered and enjoyed a delicious couscous... the fineness of the semolina, the tender meat and vegetables, everything cooked to perfection, it was a hit with everyone... And the gazelle horns were amazing... not too sweet. We'll definitely be back... And all of this is available for takeout. The delivery service was very well organized... 100% praise!

07/06/2026: Discovered by chance last Sunday, and what a wonderful find it was! A cozy, tastefully decorated place with very relaxing background music. The crêpes were delicious; the Maroilles crêpe was divine, paired with a glass of wine called "Le Caprice," which was excellent and very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a quiet, unique place to eat with soothing background music, head to La Vour Julot. Thank you for this truly delightful experience; we'll be back! 😊

28/05/2026: An absolute gem in Melrand: In my all-time Top 5! If you're traveling through central Brittany, forget the tourist traps on the coast and stop in Melrand. I mean it: this crêperie is one of the five best places I've ever had the pleasure of eating crêpes (and believe me, the competition is fierce).

06/12/2025: A fantastic find! This place truly deserves to be talked about. In Saint-Arnoult, at the Bistrot du Grand Manège – the restaurant at the Pôle du Cheval (Equestrian Center) – everything is homemade, the food is generous and delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. The owner took over the establishment in January, and you can feel his passion in every detail. Excellent value for money. A real gem.

24/11/2025: When things aren't going well, you should speak up, but when things are going well, you should speak up too. A fantastic restaurant with excellent value for money. You can confidently book a table in this place with its wonderful setting.

09/07/2026: The food is excellent, and the service, both in the dining room and the dishwashing, is impeccable. Unfortunately, the experience is spoiled by the behavior of Jacques, the bartender. He is particularly unpleasant, and his attitude ruins the restaurant's atmosphere. When working in customer service, a minimum of professionalism, respect, and courtesy is expected. A more pleasant way of speaking to customers would make a real difference. Furthermore, he is rarely seen leaving his bar during the evening. On the other hand, he is easily overheard talking loudly with the brunette waitress about matters that have no place in front of the customers. This lack of discretion detracts from the restaurant's ambiance. It's a real shame, because the quality of the food, the service, and the dishwashing deserve to be highlighted.

29/06/2026: Satisfied with the service and the quality of the food, the only downside was the lack of air conditioning, not even a fan, and a stuck window that couldn't be opened, which could be dangerous in case of fire. Unfortunately, this forced us to leave before dessert because our mother, who was celebrating her 95th birthday, fainted. A shame, given how pleasant the setting was.

From the moment you step inside, you're charmed by the setting: it's an incredibly cute place, with tasteful decor that creates a cozy and very welcoming atmosphere. You feel right at home! The food is flawless. The dishes are truly delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with passion. The service is just as wonderful: lovely, friendly, and attentive. It's become one of my favorite spots in Tourtour. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
