This little bar, run for over 40 years by the legendary Raymond—a 77-year-old man with a beret and a smile that lights up everything—is a pure and simple journey through time. Imagine: a decor frozen in the 70s, with its orange Formica benches, sparkling aluminum light fixtures, and a mind-blowing collection of owl figurines everywhere (the story behind it is adorable; Raymond had a real one at home!). Add to that knick-knacks accumulated over the decades, yellowed photos, and a cozy cramped atmosphere that forces people to squeeze together... and presto, you're in an authentic cocoon where you forget the outside world. And the prices? A joke! It's the cheapest bar in Paris: a half-pint for €2, a coffee for peanuts, and Raymond refuses to raise anything, even when the end of the month is tough. It's not just economical, it's generous, friendly, with an atmosphere where everyone chats, laughs, and lets loose without fuss. The regulars are like one big family, and newcomers (like me, after reading glowing reviews) leave feeling at home. 20/04/2026: It's true that the pizza was lacking in toppings, even though the pizza itself was good. The cheese was practically nonexistent, which is a shame. Their homemade chili oil wasn't spicy enough; I prefer the store-bought kind. The service was friendly, and the high tables were only moderately comfortable, but that's a matter of personal preference. We'll come back since it's close to home, but it's not particularly worth a special trip.

21/04/2026: A wonderful culinary surprise and a very pleasant time spent with family. Superb terrace overlooking the water and top-notch service! By far the best restaurant of our stay, and for a very affordable lunch menu! Delicious tuna tartare and perfectly cooked hake 👌🏻. Excellent crème brûlée (finally, a crème brûlée that wasn't too sweet, unlike some others!!).

08/04/2026: We came to this restaurant for lunch with high expectations, but the experience was generally disappointing. The wait was particularly long, even though we were among the first to arrive, and we were ultimately served among the last. The wait time at the checkout was also excessive. As for the food, we found it bland and rather small considering the prices, which is regrettable. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations. We hope these aspects can be improved in the future.

Then we had lunch there; everything was delicious, fresh, and homemade—you can tell! And the owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly! A great place for a unique family experience!

16/02/2026: Bad experience. Rissoto with a few scallops on a small plate and dessert for 25 euros!!! When I pointed out while paying that the rissoto with scallops was insufficient, they told me it was leftovers from the Valentine's Day menu... I'm very disappointed and consider it a rip-off... Because 35 euros for a main course, dessert, 25cl of rosé, and a coffee is outrageous! I won't be back.

15/02/2026: We came to celebrate a birthday at this restaurant and what can I say! I have nothing but praise. The food was beyond excellent: the verrines were beautifully presented, I savored a salmon tataki as a starter, and for the main course I was lucky enough to enjoy a succulent perch fillet with its butter sauce, dauphinoise potatoes, and ratatouille. The service was simply perfect—quick, cheerful, and always with a smile! The restaurant is very well laid out, with a beautifully designed space that encourages conviviality and conversation. A big thank you for this wonderful afternoon! ☺️
