27/04/2026: We had our wedding at this venue and, while the day itself was ultimately beautiful, the planning process was far more stressful than it should ever have been due to extremely poor coordination and unreliable communication. In the lead-up to the wedding, we experienced repeated delays in responses, conflicting information, and a lack of accountability. On one occasion, we waited three weeks for a response to an important email. We were also given inaccurate or misleading information that had direct consequences for both our budget and our guests, which was incredibly frustrating and avoidable. We frequently had to chase for answers, clarify details multiple times, and manage aspects ourselves that should have been handled professionally. Instead of feeling supported, we felt anxious and, at times, completely unsupported during what should have been an exciting time. Partway through, a new coordinator (Bruno Ibanez) stepped in, and the difference was immediate and significant. Communication became clear and timely, organisation improved dramatically, and for the first time we felt confident that everything was under control. This change is the reason our wedding day ran smoothly and why we were able to truly enjoy it. For that reason, it is genuinely concerning to learn that the previous coordinator, Leila Srhir, has now returned to the role. This, from our understanding, is because she is family of the owner. Based on our experience, we cannot overstate how much the quality of coordination impacted our overall experience. We would strongly urge any future couples to confirm who will be managing their wedding and ensure they have someone reliable, responsive, and organised throughout the process. This is a venue with the potential to deliver an incredible wedding day—but our experience shows that poor coordination can significantly undermine what should be a once-in-a-lifetime event. 25/04/2026: The wedding was very well managed by Bruno. Leila is incompetent and unpleasant to both the staff and the bride and groom. Avoid working with her for your own peace of mind.

16/03/2026: The meals were well-suited to the situation. Simple and hearty, served in a pleasant setting with efficient service. However, to get a drink, you had to carry your order to the bar (wearing ski boots). Not ideal for a large group, especially considering the prices should justify a minimum level of service.

17/05/2026: Superb restaurant in a magnificent setting. The chef creates his menus based on seasonal produce, which is quite rare and very pleasant. The welcome is very friendly and pleasant. The service is equally excellent. At the end of service, the chef makes the rounds to chat with his customers. That's also not common. I would be delighted to return to this restaurant. I recommend it without hesitation.

29/04/2026: First time at La Maison du Cassoulet, just a few meters from the Jean Jaurès metro station. How could I not have been here before? Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the friendliness of the staff. And of course, the cassoulet was delicious, one of the best I've ever had, with melt-in-your-mouth meat and everything else just perfect. At lunchtime, expect to pay €24 for the cassoulet with a small salad or €28.50 with a starter and dessert.

26/04/2026: I placed my order on the app, but when I arrived two hours later, it hadn't been processed. As a result, the products I chose were out of stock, and the cashier questioned my order, offering no apology or polite greeting. This is far from the atmosphere you'd expect in a bakery!

14/04/2026: A great spot on the culinary map of Les Deux Alpes! The restaurant has a very pleasant, mountain atmosphere and perfectly fits the atmosphere of this village. The food is truly delicious and refined, classic French cuisine with a modern twist. Everything is fresh, well-seasoned, and served with attention to detail. It's clear that the kitchen focuses on quality ingredients and excellent execution. The service is very friendly and helpful, making you feel at ease and comfortable, even in the busiest times. A big plus for the location on the main street and the pleasant atmosphere, which makes you want to linger after a day on the slopes. Definitely worth a visit, perfect for a quiet dinner or a get-together with friends. I'd happily return 😀

06/12/2025: If you want to tantalize your taste buds with top-quality ingredients, the exquisite flavor of each ingredient in our Christmas logs delighted and amazed us. A MUST-TRY: The vanilla one is my favorite. The peanut one is original and really lovely. The ruby, with its blend of red berries and white chocolate, is simply marvelous. Thank you to the pastry chef for these original logs with a fresh selection of flavors; it's a welcome change from the usual coffee, praline, etc. flavors. I'll be placing an order for Christmas. I'll try the galette des rois (King Cake) later. Thank you to the whole team! P.S.: Try the flaky brioche. It's divine.

09/12/2025: Since everyone's talking about couscous, I'll tell you about calf's head, a specialty of the Berry region, increasingly hard to find. Prepared the old-fashioned way, it's served in a generous portion—a real treat for those who appreciate it. I sometimes make the trip, no matter the distance, to get two portions to take away and enjoy at home. The menu price is very reasonable for a proper restaurant outing, leaving you feeling full and your taste buds delighted. The welcome is also warm and old-fashioned, giving you the feeling of being in a traditional French country restaurant, just like in the old days. 👌
