Les meilleurs restaurants

28/10/2024: Husband and wife affair provide the diner with charming and superior service, food, and ambiance. Menu is well explained in print and in person, in English and French; service is prompt; wine was delicious; dessert was prepared as if fresh from a bakery. I had the veal kidney with potatoes, and my friend had the lamb chops with vegetables. They can accommodate food allergies if required. Including the indulgent choices mentioned above plus foie gras and escargot appetizers, and a €58 bottle of Burgundy wine, the tab came to €180 for the two of us. Wonderful meal. Highly recommended.

26/09/2024: A very atmospheric restaurant run by a married couple. He (unfortunately I didn't ask for his name) cooks, Dominika takes care of everything else, which is a big trick because the restaurant quickly fills up with guests. Typical French cuisine at its best. Moderately priced in my opinion. Champagne and wines of good quality. Family atmosphere. Practically all local regular customers. Snails, Foie gras. Duck. Seasonal fish. White wine sauce - butter, only in France. I highly recommend it. By the way, in 2018 they had Michelin recommendations.

07/08/2024: A great place to taste local specialties with a friendly and attentive welcome. Excellent home-cooked food. Country terrace. Relaxed atmosphere. Stop there without hesitation.

15/10/2024: Quelle découverte ! En apprenant que ce fut la toute première pizzéria a à Mamers, je réalise que Gilles o apporté ici le goût pour les pizzas de grande classe : une fine pâte garnie généreusement et servie par un grand amoureux du cinéma, de la culture et des arts. La salle est atypique, généreusement décorée avec des clins d’œil à l’Italie, au cinéma, à la littérature. Une bande son discrète confirme les inspirations du propriétaire. L’ambiance est chaleureuse. J’ai dégusté la pizza préférée des clients : tomate, mozzarella, emmental, saumon fumé, Saint Jacques, beurre aillé, scampis. Quel délice ! C’est plus de cinq étoiles que je donnerai à la Pizzarelli si j’en avais la possibilité. J’envie les heureux mamertins qui viennent ici pour déguster la meilleure des pizzas concoctées avec amour par Gilles, le chef au grand cœur. Je ne fréquente pas les pizzérias, mais ici la pâte est fine à souhait, je reviendrai et je la recommande absolument.
