13/09/2026: Not a suitable place for brunch. Too cramped, too long a wait for a drink. The atmosphere isn't appropriate for brunch. Only one bartender to serve, long queue.

09/06/2026: So, it's been almost a year. We decided to book La Chartreuse du Bignac for our wedding. It was a natural progression for us, since the proposal took place in this breathtaking setting. For the past year, La Chartreuse has been with us every step of the way, helping us choose the menu, the wines, and organizing everything. The big day was on June 6th, with exclusive use of the estate so our guests could extend the celebration. This weekend was unforgettable for everyone, from the planning to the culinary delights. Everything was wonderful, from the cocktail hour to the meal, and even breakfast. Thank you to Jean Twari and his team for the culinary creations, thank you to Marina Arfeuille for the organization and her support, thank you to Pauline Lavignerie and Bastien for the service in the rooms. Thank you to the entire team at La Chartreuse. For a truly unique and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this estate; it's simply perfect.

25/05/2026: An authentic country house, renovated with great care and taste. The ideal place for a charming and very relaxing stay, whether by the pool overlooking the surrounding hills, in the shade of the chestnut trees or on the terrace of the excellent restaurant.

22/09/2026: We chose to get married at Domaine du Pourret in early August 2026 and we were absolutely thrilled… Firstly, it's a magnificent wedding venue, and secondly, the staff are incredibly professional and kind. They supported and reassured us throughout the year, as well as on the big day itself. We felt we could trust them completely and rely on them entirely… what a luxury when planning the event of a lifetime! The team was attentive to our every need, set up our decorations exactly as we had envisioned, and recommended trusted vendors who contributed to the success of our day. The Domaine also offers catering services, and the meal was excellent from start to finish… we were delighted, and so were our guests. So, a huge thank you to Julie, Julien, Alex, and your entire team. We are eternally grateful and will cherish the memories of this day for the rest of our lives. ✨

17/07/2026: A small restaurant I hadn't known about before, but well worth discovering. A warm welcome, a very friendly waitress, and a very professional owner. We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert: everything was excellent. What's more, the owner offered us a complimentary infused rum, a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this place!

09/09/2026: Since I was 15, I've regularly come with my family to enjoy delicious dishes, prepared fresh to order with local ingredients, at this restaurant founded by the owner's aunt in the 90s. Everyone in the area knows and recommends this family-run establishment; the parents are in the kitchen, the son and sometimes his sisters work in the dining room, and everyone knows everyone else. The welcome is warm, the service is top-notch, and the food is fabulous, whether you eat in or take away. You'll have a great time, whether with family or friends. Beware of becoming addicted! 😙

20/05/2026: We were a group of motorcyclists who received a very warm welcome. Laetitia and Eric shared their passion for truffles with us. During our stay, we were able to sample various specialties and a delightful array of desserts, lovingly and passionately prepared to tantalize our taste buds. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, ensuring restful nights in the peaceful Périgord countryside. The presentation and tour of the truffle orchard were very informative and answered all our questions. A truly immersive stay at a very welcoming, informative, and delicious guesthouse. 16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery :-) During our stay in the Périgord region, we stopped at the Mérigots truffle farm. A truly great experience!! A lovely presentation of the estate and the truffle-growing profession. Followed by a superb truffle tasting experience at lunchtime.

02/07/2026: Superb tartare, very good with homemade fries, but everything is homemade and the owner is super friendly, he knows his bistro well and is always in a good mood, the decor is nice, Versailles style, a little retro, in short, a good place!
