It gives the impression of an old, poorly maintained restaurant; the dining room is old and not very clean, and the grounds are practically abandoned. The food was good and well-prepared, despite the high prices.

26/05/2026: A wonderful discovery since the change of ownership. We were already familiar with the establishment under the previous managers, and this was our first visit since the takeover. Frankly, a delightful surprise. The food was truly excellent, the dishes as beautiful as they were delicious, with real attention to detail. You can tell that the chef, who is also the owner, loves what he does. In the dining room, the owner creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were able to enjoy the terrace, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A friendly place where you eat well and feel at ease. We will gladly return.

Despite a late room reservation and Christophe's busy schedule—he was hosting distinguished guests privately at his table—he was kind enough to prepare a delicious dinner for me on the spot. The room had a cozy and comfortable bed, the swimming pool was a welcome aperitif after a long drive, and the peaceful, rural surroundings were perfect for a stroll. This is a stop just 5 minutes from the motorway that makes you want to extend your stay! I'll be back! A huge thank you to Christophe and Virginie for their memorable hospitality.

28/07/2026: Hello everyone, I've been eating there for years, at least once or twice a month, and the quality has always been excellent. Over time, I've had the chance to observe the owners and their staff, and I've never seen a cook with headphones on or gold jewelry around their neck. If you decide to go to La Porte du Bonheur, it's primarily for the quality of the food, the service that's always focused on the well-being of the customers, and the friendliness of the staff and owners. I've never gotten sick; on the contrary, I keep coming back for more. And for the price, it's one of the least expensive Chinese restaurants in Paris. Five-star value for money. So, go and see for yourself; you won't be disappointed.

22/07/2026: Great Chinese restaurant. A few tables on the terrace on a quiet street, 300 meters from Montparnasse train station. Beautiful decor inside. The prices are reasonable, and above all, the food is delicious. The quality is consistent. I've eaten there dozens of times over the last 20 years and have never been disappointed… My son, who recently went with me, agrees. The staff is also friendly, and you can order takeout.

23/08/2026: A place specializing in chocolates and sweets. They offer small pieces and you can choose your own selection. They also have cakes and cookies. What's special is that many of the varieties are alcohol-free.
