26/08/2026: A wonderful discovery. Refined cuisine, the kind you rarely see, served by the owner with professionalism and good humor. All in a warm and tastefully decorated setting. Everything was perfect; we will be back.

31/08/2026: Being Ethiopian, I rediscovered the authentic flavors of my country, with service that lived up to our traditions. We ordered a full Beyeaynet, which was more than enough for three of us. The Teji (mes), one of our traditional drinks, was very good, and the traditional buna (coffee) with its incense was delicious. I highly recommend it.

22/09/2026: I ordered a small meat platter and specifically requested the steak medium – meaning still slightly pink inside. Unfortunately, the first steak was completely overcooked and also sliced ​​very thinly, almost like a schnitzel, which I found unusual for a steak. After I pointed this out to the waiter, he immediately took care of it and brought a new one. This one, however, was practically raw, or rather medium-rare, and again sliced ​​very thinly. While the service was attentive, the taste and preparation were unfortunately not convincing. Overall, it was okay, but not exactly "wow" – hence three stars.

19/08/2026: We visited twice during our stay in St Paul en forêt. Amazing personell in a lovely scenic environment! Plates are prepared to perfection and taste extraordinary. Please do visit this restaurant when you are in the neighborhood. Even if you are not in the neighborhood, it's definitely worth to drive some extra miles! Merci beaucoup le France restaurant!

30/07/2026: We ate at this restaurant twice in one week. Both times the food was delicious and expertly prepared, accompanied by excellent, attentive service. We'd gladly return. Reservations recommended.

03/09/2026: I'm giving it one star because the food was good. As for the rest: the interior is dirty and poorly maintained, the waitress knew absolutely nothing about the items on the menu and couldn't give you any information. The worst part for me: The owner brought our food, then stood in front of me and waited. I asked her why, and she told me she had to take my payment right away (we hadn't even started eating yet). So I took out my card, thinking she was going to tell me the amount and give me the card reader. Instead, she snatched the card from my hand before I could say anything and went inside to process the payment, using contactless instead! I didn't see the payment and wasn't told how much I was supposed to pay. You won't be seeing me again.

20/09/2026: A very nice restaurant; the burger and Mediterranean salad were plentiful and delicious. For dessert, we had crème brûlée and panna cotta. The service was very friendly, and they even offered a complimentary myrtle schnapps. Excellent value for money!

19/09/2026: A place I highly recommend… after many years, both for the friendly staff and the quality of the pizzas 🍕… finally, with a thin crust! Just a small suggestion for the Pizza Chef: offer the option of replacing the Emmental with mozzarella 😉 And of course, the excellent value for money is worth noting 😃
