16/07/2026: My friend and I went to this restaurant because of its good Google reviews. We shouldn't have. We were both sick that night and the next day... The food wasn't good, the ingredients weren't fresh (and it showed), and the hygiene was appalling (hair, slugs...). Avoid this restaurant.

16/07/2026: Disastrous experience... there was a slug in the salad... As a result, my friend and I were sick the next day!! Food poisoning! Avoid this place!

24/05/2026: I've been a regular at this restaurant for five years now. There's even a clientele of regulars who recognize each other. The food is excellent, with fresh ingredients, very reasonable prices, and the entire team, and especially the owner, are incredibly friendly.

14/07/2026: I stopped by at 1:20 PM, not a single customer. He made it clear he was closing the restaurant. I had a beer and then I had to leave because he was in a hurry. As for the Total restaurant, since I only had my bank card to pay for food, he was also annoyed. I already left a review on Trukfly which was moderated, oddly enough.

12/07/2026: Nice restaurant, menu with "homemade" dishes. Pleasant welcome. Set menu: starter, main course, dessert for €18.90. It's worth the detour.

29/05/2026: May 29, 2026, I bought some supposedly genuine "2nd generation AirPods." The writing on the box was questionable, crooked, and the font was illegible. Inside the box were the two AirPods; thankfully, the audio quality wasn't great compared to real 2nd generation AirPods. They told me they bought them from a supplier and that they were genuine. Of course, they took them back and gave me a full refund. In short, avoid buying used tech from Leclerc Champfleury and be wary of refurbished items.

28/05/2026: For the past few years, the supermarket has declined in quality and reliability, with many expired products still on the shelves, particularly in the fresh produce section, which is especially damaging. There have been more than twenty such issues in recent years, some of which have been reported to the relevant health authorities. When I say expired products, I'm not talking about products that are two days past their expiration date, but several weeks, even months, late. It's as if the employees in the affected departments only work once every three weeks or three months. And the customer service? Apart from this week, when a receptionist took the time to call the affected department that day, I far too often encounter receptionists who say "we'll do it"... and nothing changes. Another major problem: the lack of stock on many products during certain weeks. The employee in charge of the canned vegetables department left, and since then, some items are missing or the displays are inadequate. On the positive side: the employee in the canned vegetable section was professional, as was the employee in the biscuit aisle, who was both efficient and patient, and meticulous with her products. Most of the cashiers did their jobs well and were generally friendly. The store was clean, but the devil is in the details...

07/06/2026: This weekend we visited this cozy restaurant. The food was exceptionally good and authentic! I highly recommend trying their saffron ice cream, it might be one of the best ice creams I've ever tried. The waitress is also very funny and kept us entertained throughout the visit. The wait time for the food was a little long, but good things take time ;) The next time I'm in Strasbourg I'll definitely come by again. 5/5 stars would highly recommend

He didn't hesitate to taste a drink, though 😅 Luckily, he was one of the young ones who didn't have a sense of smell, and the second time around I would have been met with a brick wall. We should definitely take a page from this young manager's book. Thanks again. (Note: The housekeeping wasn't great, though...)

26/06/2026: We spent two nights there with breakfast included for two people. What a delightful surprise to discover this little corner of the mountains! The hotel is incredibly welcoming, both in its decor and the staff. Everyone was so attentive. The room was absolutely beautiful. A soft, cozy bed awaited us. In short, we felt wonderfully at home. Just one small suggestion that came to mind on the way home... Could you perhaps add labels to the cheeses at breakfast? We were impressed by the quantity and quality of the food on offer. 22/04/2026: An excellent place with delicious pizzas (I recommend the brousse - figatelli! 😋) and also very good desserts (don't miss the amazing tiramisu cafe!). The icing on the cake was the young man who served us, who was smiling, friendly, full of humor, and offered great advice. Definitely not to be missed!

06/07/2026: We came to eat the spit-roasted suckling pig, which was very good. We agree with other comments about the service; indeed, don't be in a hurry as everyone eats at the same time, so plan to leave the table around 4 pm. The setting is really pleasant, no complaints there. The menu is also very affordable and the food is good; however, the menu is set, so you have to like everything. (For example, we didn't eat the dessert, which we didn't like, but that's part of the experience, I suppose.) Our main complaint was with the service. They bring the dishes without telling you what they are; they just put the plate down and that's it. (For example, we were served a plate of assorted toasts, but we didn't know what they were. My wife is allergic to certain foods like figs and chestnuts, so it would have been nice to simply know what was on our plates.) They don't ask if you'd like anything other than what's served (for example, still or sparkling water). Finally, the coffee served isn't espresso, so coffee lovers will be disappointed.
