08/05/2026: The hotel is a bit outdated. The room was comfortable, but not spotlessly clean. There was a very strong cooking smell coming from the kitchen in the hotel, and unfortunately, in our room as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to park for free in front of the hotel. It is located right in the center of Dol de Bretagne.

The service is always impeccable. 2024: A pleasant stay in a cozy and comfortable hotel located in a charming little town steeped in history. The food is excellent; the varied and flavorful dishes are served with care and a smile.

19/04/2026: A really nice time, Seb kindly let us sleep on his future free bivouac site! (Because it's a Natura 2000 protected area) We had a very good breakfast and aperitif.

05/01/2026: The food is excellent, but the portions are very small, which is a shame. The same goes for the wine glasses. Ours were definitely less than 12cl. How can you expect to build customer loyalty with a business like that? The service is adequate, but not up to the standard of the food. They ask us how we did without even looking at us—that says it all about their attention! 😅 In short, remember, food isn't everything!

16/05/2026: A lovely dinner by the Baise river, very friendly welcome. But the local foie gras was firm...overcooked?? The sweetbreads were plentiful but swimming in a bland sauce, supposed to include porcini mushrooms...barely visible 😞😞what a shame. The dessert was very good.

04/05/2026: A disaster... for a first visit, very disappointing. When we made the reservation by phone, we were told there was no cook and no Portuguese specialties. No octopus, no cod, no drinks menu, and no idea of ​​the price of the aperitifs. The aperitif had barely been served when the starter arrived. No idea of ​​the prices of the daily specials... the fries were very firm inside and burnt outside, the duck breast was cold... we pointed this out to the waitress who replied, "We no longer have a cook, the owner does the cooking." Don't make a reservation if you don't know how or can't cook. The service was very quick; in one hour on a Saturday evening, aperitifs, starters, main courses, and dessert were served.

12/04/2026: Leon has been completely renovated, is modern and bright. The children's playroom has been reduced to a minimum. Efficient service, a smaller mussel menu, and new dishes besides mussels. Charging stations are available in the parking lot.
