21/03/2026: Just a quick comment to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the manager I dealt with at lunchtime today. He didn't hesitate to taste a drink, though 😅 Luckily, he was one of the young ones who didn't have a sense of smell, and the second time around I would have been met with a brick wall. We should definitely take a page from this young manager's book. Thanks again. (Note: The housekeeping wasn't great, though...)

26/08/2026: Highly recommended! Friendly, smiling service! The meal was good quality; the tartiflette was delicious! A big thank you! The restrooms were very clean and smelled lovely! A bowl for our canine friends

02/08/2026: A true Italian institution right across from the Théâtre des Bouffes. An authentic Italian restaurant with remarkably friendly waiters and service! We were a good-sized group of seven and arrived at the last minute without a reservation, yet we were welcomed in the best possible way. The energy emanating from the restaurant staff and the restaurant itself was universally praised, as were the pizzas 🍕 and the various dishes we ordered on this extremely hot evening of 35°C (95°F)! It was incredibly hot, but that didn't stop us from enjoying a delicious meal on the outdoor terrace, which was conveniently located on a fairly quiet street. Personally, I've very rarely eaten such a good four-cheese pizza, and the pistachio pasta sauce was equally excellent and flavorful 🤌. The added bonus is that the prices are very reasonable for the location and the quality offered, although the bill can quickly add up for some dishes. (I really hope the law banning smoking on terraces passes soon because it can really ruin a dinner)

14/06/2026: We went there yesterday, Saturday, June 13th, at lunchtime. The phone reception for the reservation was excellent. We received a very warm welcome at the restaurant, the dishes prepared by the Chef were exquisite, and the service was superb! We were two couples of friends with gift vouchers, and we left the restaurant truly delighted and satisfied with the service provided by these professionals. The place is very pleasant and impeccably clean! We recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a pleasant and convivial experience! Thank you to "L'Auberge Restaurant Le Ratelier." We will return with great pleasure! (mt&p,ma&j)

04/09/2026: Last night we had dinner at this charming restaurant. It wasn't our first time, and it certainly won't be our last. Everything was perfect. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls as a starter, which we shared. Then my wife had the John Dory fillet with saffron mussels, and I had the sea bream bouillabaisse. Everything was absolutely delicious. The sea bream surprised me even more because I'd had a bad experience in Cannes where I'd ordered a bouillabaisse that had greatly disappointed me. The sea bream I was served was simply perfect; just thinking about it makes me hungry, and yet I'd already eaten a rather good meal. For dessert, I chose the pistachio tiramisu, and once again, it was incredibly good. I could have had a second one if I hadn't had to be sensible, haha... it's not easy to be sensible at a restaurant like L'Horloge Gourmande. A big thank you to the chef, and a big thank you to the lady who served us so efficiently and pleasantly.

18/09/2026: Great friendly local bar serves good tapas and only 2mins from the canal

19/08/2026: Great place! The portions are really generous, the quality is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable for the size of the servings. The non-alcoholic cocktails are also fantastic. I'll definitely be back!
